My experience at this restaurant was terrible. When I arrived, the bartender greeted me and offered me a beer, which I accepted even though I didn't really want one.

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant on February 7, 2012. The service was excellent, with our waitress (who was also the bartender) being very patient and helpful in answering our questions.

"This is my second experience at this place, both times I've been extremely disappointed. Apparently the cooks, chefs have no idea what medium rare means. Instead I got well done steaks. I was disappointed in the cut of ribeye, a ribeye should be thick not thin as a piece of paper. With the thinness of the steak cut it's understandable that getting it medium rare could have been a difficult task. We had bruschetta as an appetizer. Needless to say it was a complete and utter failure. The only positive part I can say is the service was excellent our waitress was very very pleasant."

"The bar and dining area are beautiful! The service was great. Although the fish (Artic Char En Papillote) I had was tasty and moist, I was disappointed that no vegetable or potatoe came with it. I'm gluten free and they brought warm GF bread which was excellent. The others i dined with had pasta and thought it needed more sauce. We all ordered the apple salad which was excellent."

"I highly recommend dining at this restaurant. The service is outstanding, the staff are very friendly and attentive to their customers. This dedication is evident not only in the service, but also in the delicious food. The portion sizes are just right and the Ranchero sauce is perfectly thick, the steak is incredibly tender. You can taste the love put into the food. Make sure to visit and meet Adrian, David, and Karen - they are wonderful people who support local businesses. Little Mexico is delicious!"

"Great sandwich shop that has been there almost forever. Good food and good service. They have a punch card you get punched each purchase and when it is full you get a free sandwich too! Vegetarian options: They have a veggie sub that you can also get as a wrap to decrease carbs. The veggies are delicious and their sauce really makes it super tasty. Kid-friendliness: They have a separate kids menu of smaller sandwiches and fun foods for kids."

"I absolutely love her cooking! I visited her Taco Loco in Rockford as well, which she closed to open this new Taco Loco here. I’m really going to miss her delicious food and the friendly atmosphere we had at the old place. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
