"Beer AND the food was great, would come back again. I think the Angle of Death was the best sour. Burrito was mind blowing awesome. Would definitely order that again. Excellent flavor, good portion, great with elotes. You must order a side of elotes. The corn was the freshest corn I’ve had since Indiana, and the spice mix was incredible, it might be the best elotes I have had thus far…. Burger looks amazing, humongous slice of pineapple in it. Vermicelli noodles were good, decent portion for a healthy dish. Was a little sad the tofu wasn’t pan seared or anything. Cucumber salad was ok, but probably wouldn’t order again. Overall excellent experience, would love to come back."

Great beers and even better food. My wife got the vegan burrito (with fries in it?! and I got the Tofu Banh Mi.... The burrito was so good we ordered another one! Excellent dog friendly patio with plenty of shade water bowls too.

The tap room itself is a very nice space. However I went there on a Tuesday evening and the bar staff did not engage with any patrons as I could tell, they just stood around the unoccupied section of the bar and talked, never even asked if I wanted another...

My friend always says a place can’t do 2 things well. This is a good example. Wicked weed distributes decent beer, but the taprooms have some mildly interesting brews that fall flat. The food is also mid. Not sure why we always find ourselves here when in town lol

Decent enough. My expectations were too high. Built it up too high in my mind.good beers. A few of the sours taste the same. A Couple were very good. Burger was very good as well as the Vietnamese salad. Poutine frys were a let down. The gravy was a very thin broth. Voir le carte

This is a fantastic spot for those who enjoy sour beers; however, it turns out that I'm not one of them. To me, they all start to taste the same after the first 5-ounce pour. The venue is quite spacious, but that seems to hinder its efficiency, as we experienced some lengthy wait times for service.

Beer is terrible. It most closely compares to when your friend buys a home brewing kit and asks you to try his first few attempts. Service was also lacking. It feels like if you aren’t local they don’t want you here. Their theme should be “over the lips and part the gums. Look out stomach here it comes!”

I came with my family and didn't really feel our of place. A good, fun restaurant with a decently hip environment. I ordered the Vietnamese noodle bowl, which is a vegan dish. I'm not a vegan and I thought the food was outstanding. Good beer selection and the service was pretty solid. Highly recommend for a place to take friends and hangout. Voir le carte

I’ve been to Asheville several times. Each time was on weekends and the lines at local breweries can be extremely long. With that said, we’ve missed a few breweries that were on our list. Funkatorium is one that I’ve wanted to try. Finally came to Asheville for an overnight on a Tuesday and able to give it a try. Love this place! The beers are amazing and service spot on. Can’t wait to come back with my wife and try again.

I absolutely loved this place! The beer selection was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We had a wonderful time! The Khatta Masala beer was out of this world; for anyone with an Indian palate, it tasted just like mango pickle—simply unreal. I loved it to the moon and back! I wish we could have taken some home with us. We tried two beer flights: the Roulette and the Barrel Aged Sour Beers, and both were excellent. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys sour beers!

"Hole in the wall or Hidden Gem for Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Asheville Nestled in the vibrant culinary scene of Asheville, North Carolina, El Que Pasa stands out as a delightful destination for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a clean, well-kept interior that sets the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The first thing I noticed was how genuinely welcoming the staff were. I was greeted with smiles all around, which immediately made me feel at home. Shortly after being seated, my waitress promptly took my drink order and within moments, I was served with a basket of fresh tortilla chips and salsa. One unique highlight that truly adds value to the experience is their salsa bar . It’s not just your run-of-the-mill selection; this bar featured about eight handcrafted salsas, each with its own unique flavor profile. Whether you’re a fan of mild, tangy salsas or crave a spicy kick, there’s something for everyone. This kind of attention to detail in offering a variety of salsas is a testament to their commitment to providing an authentic Mexican dining experience. For my meal, I ordered the steak fajitas, paired with their house special margarita. The sizzle of the fajitas as they were brought to the table instantly got my taste buds going. The steak was cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. The accompanying peppers and onions were fresh and added a nice balance to the dish. But what truly impressed me was the authenticity of the flavors. It’s clear that El Que Pasa takes pride in delivering a genuine Mexican dining experience, and they don’t cut corners when it comes to the quality of their ingredients. As for the margarita, it was simply a 10/10. The blend was perfectly balanced – not overly sweet, with just the right amount of tequila and a fresh citrus finish. It complemented my meal perfectly and added to the overall satisfaction of the evening. El Que Pasa offers much more than just a meal; it provides an experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Asheville, this restaurant is worth a visit. The combination of friendly service, an expansive salsa bar, and mouth-watering dishes makes it a standout choice for Mexican cuisine in the area. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, and this time, I’ll be bringing my family along to share in the great food and warm atmosphere. If you’re searching for authentic Mexican flavors in Asheville with a welcoming vibe and top-notch service, El Que Pasa should be at the top of your list. Five stars all the way!"
