"This place is awesome. It's got that small town diner feel, the food is great overall, and the service is friendly and professional. The chipped beef, their specialty, was very good, and the omelette with hash brown was big and done well. Unfortunately, I do not recommend the steak. My husband ordered it medium rare, received it rare (so much that it was hard to cut with the steak knife), asked for it to be cooked a little more, and received it well done. The waitress, however, was very accommodating and gave us a generous discount. We would definitely go back next time we're in OC."

First time eating there. Service was great and the food came out in about 5 minutes. Some of the best cream chipped beef I've ever eaten. If you leave hungry it's your fault.

Have been eating at General's for 20 plus years. The SOS is different now (Oct 2023) than it was before and is not as good. It used to have almost an orange color to the gravey and was amazing. Now, it is a flavorless white sauce. Please bring back the old recipe we all loved so much. Voir le carte

Wow! This place had the best Creamed Chipped Beef any of us in my group have ever had (seriously! . We was blown away by how great this place was and how tasty. I highly recommend you trying this place out it was priced great and had great customer service. Will be repeat customers now!

Great breakfast for a reasonable price. That is, if there is any reasonable prices dining out anymore. Omelet, toast and hash browns for $9.95. Literally received it in 5 minutes. One of the few places open in the off season. Never assume a place is open during the off season or you will drive around forever....
