First time at the hardware café and it was excellent!! I would go back again and would certainly recommend.

Came for breakfast. Got the Irish Eggs Benedict. So delicious would definitely come in again to try other things that I couldn't decide between , if I come back to this area of Montana

This place was SO good. We had a huge group and they were still able to seat us super quickly considering. I ended up getting their breakfast special that happened to be a ribeye and let’s just say the portions didn’t let you leave hungry. 10/10 would recommend. Voir le carte

This has to be the best breakfast spot in the area without a doubt. Helena and East Helena can't compete with the quality here! The service is fantastic, with friendly and attentive staff always making sure you're well looked after. And the food is simply amazing! I tried the Irish Benedict and it certainly lived up to my expectations.

It’s a GREAT breakfast spot in a different spot of Helena. This feels like more of a local spot which I really appreciate. The skillets are yummy, I think next time I’ll get a poached egg to really harmonize all the food i get. The pancakes are classic with sugar syrup rather than real maple syrup. This place does get crowded so be aware and be patient. Sundays it will be super busy and it stays slammed even close to closing.

Do yourself a favor and get the banana bread French toast. It is heavenly with a side of sweet cream. Their pancakes are also delicious, I recommend the lemon ricotta. The staff is always friendly. The food is always amazing. I also love the coffee, it is one dang good cup of coffee. If you are in Helena it is worth the 15-20 minute drive to Montana City to get these pancakes and French toast. The eggs Benedict ain’t too bad either. Hearty portions, decently priced, the best breakfast spot in the area hands down. Voir le carte

Great food, service for our party of about 7 or 8 was a bit lackluster, but the waitress seemed to be serving the entire restaurant by herself so benefit of the doubt there... One lady in our party with allergy concern/request for ingredient removed was made normal, her replacement was also made wrong. I asked for iced coffee but got regular. Other than that orders were smooth. I had Irish eggs Benedict, VERY GOOD! great portion size, (most took home 1/4-1/2)...I was a pig and ate most of it though lol....will be trying again later

visited alone. restaurant not busy. 3 booths available. asked for a booth, was suggested a half booth declined that. was shown to a regular booth and had the menu tossed on the table. no offer of beverage. in next booth. two gentlemen seated themselves and the told hostess, despite sign at door that says please wait to be seated . hostess came to table, chatted with them and offered beverages. I am a regular customer that tios generously and certainly dud not appreciate the lack of courtesy on the part of the hostess. next time, I will just seat myself.

Hardware is normally really good but we were unhappy this time around. We had a party of four and we were seated at a table meant for two. Waitress never refilled coffee and the portions were way to small for what we were being charged. Doesn't mean I won't take my family here again because as I said, this place normally is very good. They were busy so I get it, but the small table made us feel cramped and the biscuits and gravy portion was very small. Food quality was good as always but if they are busy definitely tell them you want a table appropriate to the size of your party, something I didn't know I'd have to do but will from now on.
