The Log House 1776 - Carte

Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. The best burger I've ever had. We stopped by on the way to VA Beach. Definitely want to eat here again.

We celebrated our 11th anniversary in the Keeper of Secrets area at the Log House. It holds special meaning for me, as I brought Judy there the day I proposed to the love of my life.

Unique place to eat inside a typical lodge of 18th century. Everything was good from the service to the meals. We went to the gift shop that is next door and also belongs to the restaurant. Nice place. Voir le carte

The service was outstanding. The food was excellent. The restaurant is quaint, a log cabin. The friendly, informative, service made us feel at home. The menu was extensive. I highly recommend the Log House.

Excellent different kinds of entrées. Bread comes before the meal which gives u something to munch on. Huge wine list. More wine then food available. Seating seems kinda limited cramped. But food is the main course and very good.

Waited 45 minutes for a steak hoagie and bowl of soup that was nothing to brag on. Poor parking, seating was uncomfortable and felt like I was setting in a dark musty old barn. Staff seemed confused, kitchen staff was not dressed properly. Waste of time and money!

This restaurant is a dream come true for history enthusiasts! Originally constructed in the 1780s as a tenant house, it has been beautifully restored into a unique dining venue that features charming and cozy areas to savor delicious food. While you soak up the lovely atmosphere, warm, fresh bread and butter keep you satisfied until your entrée arrives. My husband chose the trout, and I opted for the wasabi salmon with candied pecans—both were excellent selections! We also took home desserts for later: the carrot cake and buttermilk chocolate cake were absolutely delightful!

We've talked about trying the Log House Restaurant for several years whenever we go to Wytheville. Our first time at the restaurant did not disappoint. The meals we had were excellent and the service was excellent. My wife had the orange chicken with green beans and boiled potatoes. She rated her meal a 5 out of 5. I had the clam chowder as a starter. It probably was the best clam chowder I have ever had. My meal was broiled cod with green beans and boiled potatoes. Again the food was excellent. There was no room for dessert. Our server Cali was very upbeat and attentive. We will certainly stop at the Log House Restaurant in the future. Voir le carte
