Excellent gourmet sandwiches. I highly recommend their breaded eggplant. Perfectly prepared. Friendly staff and good prices accentuate the high quality fare. A great stop for a quick lunch. The food at this restaurant used to be really good. However, the hoagies are no longer as good as they used to be. They have become smaller, more expensive, and now seem like a specialty sandwich rather than a traditional hoagie. This was disappointing. Food quality is rated as 2 out of 5, service as 3 out of 5, and atmosphere as 4 out of 5.

The food was good, but the wait was long being the only ones there. Ordered the sandwich special,a half of grilled cheese, and a salad. It was yummy. They sell other things, but nothing is marked, and when asked why, we were told the owner doesn't like to post prices. We didn't want to keep asking, so we just didn't purchase anything. The order was incorrect. I ordered a chicken salad sub and it was on bread. I ordered two panini and they were on regular bread instead of panini bread. I would have liked a call to ask me if I wanted to change my order. I called and told them. All they said was tell him next time and he will fix it. There won’t be a next time. Order an Italian sub one of the worst subs I've had. If you like a sandwich that's all dry bread with no seasoning then this is the restaurant for you it's sad when you eat local and you would have rather had a Wawa sub instead to a better quality and taste. would have given zero stars but wasn't an option. We decided to stop at Dodge's for a quick lunch while we were at a nearby youth soccer tournament. To our pleasant surprise, we found a diverse menu that satisfied our entire party of 7, even the picky kids! The service was exceptional and very friendly. It turns out that Dodge's is the oldest operating market in the state of New Jersey, dating back to the 1800s. We loved the opportunity to enjoy a meal at this historic gem in New Jersey.

I went here for lunch today with a party of 6, all of us vegan. I had called a few days ahead to make sure they could accommodate us, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. When we got there, he had 2 vegan specials planned for us made with fresh local produce and both were amazing. We also got an order of hand-cut fries for the table which were seriously the best fries I've ever had in my life...I might have to go back to Elmer just for them! All of the food was very high quality, very fresh and very delicious! One word of caution though is don't go here if you're in a rush because service is very slow.
