The Other Place Shawnee

We were there in a large group. Which is normally not a good experience. But it was fabulous! Our waitress was top notch! The food was excellent! I can't wait to go back!

The food was excellent, and the service was wonderful. Trish did an outstanding job. It seemed like the entire staff was in sync. I had such a fun time being there. I will definitely be returning. Food rating: 5/5.

Not gonna lie! Not sure I've had a better quesadilla in my entire life! The chicken bacon avocado quesadilla is a must try! Can't say enough about it!All in all, it's an above average sports bar. I'd definitely recommend. Voir le carte

Probably the greatest experience to eat here. Silverware was dirty and I am not talking stains I speak chicks of food nor on forks. Then my water was replenished and another jug of food was poured into my drink. Bring your own utensils.

Really felt like a family owned and operated place though it is a Franchise. Loved the food and the atmosphere. While there is a bit of a corporate vibe I think it is worth a visit. Their salads were high quality produce and the pizza did the job.

This is our go-to spot for watching a game while enjoying a meal. It gets busy quickly, so it's best to arrive early to avoid long waits. My onion rings were served cold, but they promptly replaced them with a fresh batch. It's also a great place to bring your kids. Food: 5/5. Voir le carte

We visited this restaurant tonight to catch both a performance and the KU game. There were six of us, including a 2 1/2-year-old who was a bit restless. As a vegan, I found the menu options a bit limited. However, our server, Cody, was incredibly gracious and friendly. He truly deserves all five stars for his outstanding service. We also enjoyed our food and drinks, but it was the exceptional service that really stood out.

We had a great evening at The Other Place on the patio. The tiki drinks were great on Thursday and we shared the combo appetizer platter which was all good. The new patio is gorgeous and very comfortable. We loved John Sanders Acoustic who was the musical entertainment. He played a great mix of music and is very talented. Loved the volume. Just right to know you are enjoying live music but still able to have a conversation and visit with friends!

I went in for the chiefs game, had a couple drinks with our food and ended up leaving because I was feeling sick. Paid the tab, and didn't think to check the tab until we got to the car because we were in a hurry. Realized we got charged for food we did not order. I called up to the restaurant and explained the situation, but the manager refused to reverse the charge because he remembered bringing it to our table. We never got that food nor did we order it. The server even kept telling us he accidentally kept getting the orders mixed up between tables when he was putting our order in. Voir le carte
