"We've enjoyed previous visits to this restaurant but our recent visit was somewhat disappointing. While the food was delicious, the dining experience felt cold and inhospitable. The waiter seemed grumpy. And there was no mention whatsoever about the reason for the occasion (I indicated this was for a birthday when I made the online reservation). Not the kind of ambience we had hoped for, or experienced during previous meals there. I'd like to go back, but this event left a sour taste on an otherwise great meal. And one more note: the valet service is a joke. I got to give a guy $8 to watch him park my car for me and have him immediately hand back my keys as he wouldn't be there afterwards. I'm usually an optimistic guy and rarely give bad reviews. But I have to say something this time."

"Tout était génial, notre serveur était génial et l'hôte a accueilli toutes mes demandes spéciales parfaites. C'était l'anniversaire de ma femme alors je suis venu tôt dans la journée pour déposer des roses et un fromage spécial pour la surprendre. J'ai rappelé à l'hôte de laisser le serveur savoir que c'était une surprise, j'ai noté que je suis sûr qu'il était évident en apportant tout cela à l'heure à laquelle j'ai eu des réservations de PM. Tout s'est parfaité ... presque. Ma femme est très belle et je dois faire face aux gars de la regarder constamment, il fait partie d'avoir une belle épouse, j'y suis habitué. Un buseur particulier qui a continué à marcher par notre table a continué de regarder, je pensais qu'il vérifiait ma femme ou vérifiant évidemment notre table pour un bon service, mais il semblait qu'il regardait la direction de ma femme. Quoi qu'il arrive. Comme je l'ai demandé le chèque, je me suis levé et a appris secrètement à l'hôte s'ils peuvent faire ressortir le dessert avec la bougie, etc. Je retourne à la table pour attendre le visage surprise de ma femme, car ce même busser se promène et dit le Seule la chose dont il nous a déjà dit ... Hey les gars, votre fromage auront jusqu'à une minute, ils sont prêts à partir. Pourrait juste être désemparé ou pourrait être un mouvement de secousses ... de toute façon qui a ruiné la surprise et il a laissé un mauvais goût. Ne m'empêchera pas de revenir de ne pas planifier plus de dîners surprises là-bas"

"Family favorite since I was 15, same location. Was our stop before sometimes but always after going surfing, was in love with the fried zucchini and they uses to come in a brown lunch bag. These days we have the pastrami sandwich or have the big breakfast. And can't forget the shake.. they have definitely evolved over the years. Serving beer and espresso, and can always catch a game on the several TVs they have. Sit outside and people watch and feel the nice warm california sun. It's an Iconic location for over 40+yrs."

"We had a great experience at Yum Yum! My family and I visited on a Sunday afternoon, right after a church brunch. The restaurant had a self-service style, which was a pleasant surprise. Customers would seat themselves and then go up to the counter to order. After placing their order, they would receive a number and have their food brought to them. The food came out quickly and was well worth the wait. We ordered chilaquiles, a breakfast burrito, and pancakes for our child. The chilaquiles were flavorful and fresh, the burrito was massive and loaded with delicious fillings, and the spiced potatoes on the side were delightful. Our daughter especially enjoyed the fluffy pancakes. Overall, Stratford was a fantastic spot to enjoy a tasty and peaceful breakfast/brunch by the harbor with friends. We are looking forward to returning in the future."

"Blade 1936 hosted a fantastic milestone birthday for our boisterous group of 30 people. We reserved the back room in a custom table configuration. It wasn't a typical layout but they were accommodating and happy to try our approach. There is nothing more they could have done to make such a great night possible.The cocktails were excellent. We enjoyed Lisa Bella's, Manhattans, and other cocktails, and wine.The food was outstanding. Starters were Bruschetta, Pizza Margherita, and Pappardelle Alla Bolognese. Main courses were Bistecca Di Manzo Alla Brace (ribeye steak) and Salmone Alla Griglia Con Erbette (salmon) and both were excellent. Our friends are still talking about the food.Best of all, our server Sean was pulled in a dozen different directions throughout the night and never missed an opportunity to take great care of our friends. He was diligent, friendly, and responsive. He and his team worked hard to serve our loud and enthusiastic crowd. The service made the night for us.Of note, we also dined there before and after the party with the same high quality experiences. We live in Austin but I'd be tempted to make some trips just to go back. Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina, delicious."
