"Front desk service is horrible , girls are just laughing and talking amongst themselves. Took wrong phone number down I called to make sure all is well let me know I am still 12th in line come back in 20 I showed up girl told me I texted you 30 min ago?? How is that so? Oh don’t worry I’ll put you back in line phone number was wrong. Made me wait an additional 15 min after already waiting an hour and a half because she had the wrong phone number. I drove an hour to get here so we waited. Server was amazing from the waiter !!!! So was the food !"

"This is our 2’d visit — both were disastrous. This time, when we tried to order a burger, they instructed we would have to leave the dining room and sit in the bar. note the restaurant was not busy. I then ordered but asked for a manager to see what they would say…… it was the same ….. no burger in dining room. When I noted the person across from me IN THE DINING room was eating a burger…. They became dumbfounded. Service both times was extremely slow and poor. Also — there were two high school kids — who were “making out” sitting on one anothers lap with heavy petting with no manager or host trying to “calm down” the situation"

"This entire staff and restaurant is amazing. My wife and I come here at least once a week. From the management, Francisco, to the waitstaff, Arman, Antonio, Andres, Pedro to the hostesses, Yuliana and Andres, we love you guys! This is how a respectable establishment should be run. Great teamwork, great food, and you always make us feel at home. I often tell my friends and family that if I wanted to become a waiter, I would work here. Francisco (Pancho) is a great man and leader and we highly respect his management style. We will return as often as we can and order the same thing we always do: Paradilla Mixta for two, extra shrimp, no sausage, add a side of fried cheese, and corn tortillas! Do yourself a favor and ask for one of the waiters above, they are all equally great! Oh, and the food is unbeatable! Thanks for being the best restaurant in Sugar Land!"

"We are visiting from Chicago and were recommended to try this restaurant. To be honest, it feels very similar to Uncle Julio's, just with larger portion sizes. I ordered my usual dish from Uncle Julio's in Chicago—Beef and Shrimp Fajitas. It came with Mexican butter, beans, and rice. Normally, I swap out the Spanish rice for cilantro lime rice, but they didn’t have that option here. The main differences were the portion sizes, which were enormous, and the fact that they offered quail on the menu, something I've never seen at Uncle Julio's back home. If you enjoy Uncle Julio's, you'll likely enjoy this place too, but there isn't anything particularly unique about it."

"I 've always wanted to eat here when in the Sugar Land Town Plaza area, but never really got the chance until this past Saturday (September 2, 2023 . I can 't recall how many years they 've been participating in Houston Restaurants Weeks (HRW , but it was a good time, and incentive to finally try them out last Labor Day weekend. I was there for a pre-concert dinner. (The concert that I attending was at the Smart Financial Centre nearby. I type nearby because it takes no more than five minutes to get there if you get all green lights. Lol. First thing was that were very accommodating. The HRW site that reservations were required, but since this was a spontaneous decision, I thought I would take a chance, and hopefully get a table. Good thing because the restaurant wasn 't too busy. I was seated by my server, Dalton, who was very friendly, patient, and accommodating. Plus, he didn 't come out as too eager like other servers in other establishments; he didn 't appear at my table every 30 seconds asking how my food (and drink was. That is a pet peeve of mine; seriously, let me, at least, take a bite of my food! Lol. Props to Dalton! As of the food, their HRW menu was in three courses: appetizer, main dish, and dessert. I chose the melon bites, chicken marsala, and tiramisu, respectively. For my drink, it was water, and at first, a cider made by Aval. But, unfortunately, they didn 't have any more so I settled for a Riesling by Leitz. The melon bites were Watermelon, cantaloupe, prosciutto, toasted pistachio and balsamic glaze. This wasn 't your parents cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto appetizer. Just the thought of that presentation makes me shake my head and roll my eyes. Lol. V&V 's presentation was hella pretty. It gave me a look of god, why do I have to destroy this? Forgot to note that this was delicious. Just enough sweetness from the melons, and just enough tartness from the balsamic glaze. The chicken marsala was served with mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. This dish was just right: the chicken wasn 't dry nor the sauce too salty. Nor, did the asparagus turned out to taste rubbery. Just enough crisp when cutting it. And, the sauce was a great substitute gravy for the mashed potatoes. The tiramisu was just right, too. The color of it was perfect; sometimes when I order tiramisu, the coffee color takes over from the lady fingers to the mascarpone. And, I 'm not describing the cocoa powder that is shakes on top of it. The espresso taste, by the way, was not overpowering, either. The Riesling was very good. I detected a bit of an orangey smell from it, but actually drinking it, the wine had hints of apple, lime, and tarragon. I don 't drink wine that often, but I kind of want to buy a bottle of this. Lol. I was offered another glass of wine, but the alcohol was sneaking in, and was giving me hints that it was time to go. Plus, I was driving, so that wouldn 't be good. Would I come here again? That would be a yes. The service, food, and drink was great. Plus, I saw that they had pork belly on their menu. There, you see, that 's an incentive! Lol."
