Ate with a group of 7. Everyone's food was delicious. Appetizers were great. Food was out fast. Save room because they bring out a tray of their desserts!

I love dining here whenever I'm in Appleton! I ordered the thick-cut steak and it did not disappoint! It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Plus, they make a fantastic old fashioned!

They have awesome food friendly staff a lot of ways they prepare the fish about 13 of them I think prime rib was pretty awesome it gets packed fast very busy popular place make a reservation is my recommendation. It's a good family restaurant so kids are more than welcome

my wife and I had our jubilee dinner here. my wife had captain sullys trio, scallops, shrimp and haddock, with a two-baked kartoffel. I had a stuffed tylloin with jalapeño and garlic butter, and we both had a southern old-fashioned sweet. that was my second time at the red ox, good eating last time and again great.

This restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience with fantastic food and excellent customer service. The ribs practically fell off the bone, and the potatoes were superb! They even have specials that can help you save a few dollars. The crab legs (which I didn’t photograph) were tasty, but I found them a bit bland without dipping sauce. I’m not a huge fan of salads, but most entrees come with one or a side dish. There’s a great variety of options to choose from! I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and I would definitely recommend this place! Voir le carte

I wanted to order some appetizers, but my two companions weren't in the mood for my choices. In hindsight, it was probably for the best, as our main courses were absolutely amazing! I ordered the haddock, which was cooked to perfection; I can't rave enough about the door-crafted cherry sauce – it was fantastic! My companion ordered the crab cake and found it just as delicious as the Crab Oscar, but I couldn’t even finish my own meal. My husband had the veal and absolutely loved it. Our son, who is quite picky about his food, enjoyed his chicken tenders and fries, which were perfectly seasoned. We also enjoyed the bread with sweet butter. Red Ox Thurs. Dec 30th 5pm Dinner for 6 adults. We were in a smaller room off the entrance and noise was not an issue. Reservations got us seated promptly. Waitress Jessica was excellent! Started with appetizers of Fried Pickles, and Rings shrooms which were all delicious. Bar service was very timely and we ordered a variety. Jessica kept checking for refills . The broccoli cheese soup was delicious (had onions in it , French Onion Soup very delicious. Garden salad was a healthy portion with plenty of dressing (next time I will get it on the side . Took my 13 yo daughter here for her birthday on a Sunday night (2/6/22). We didn't have a reservation, but got there at about 4:30pm and we were able to be seated immediately. Server was great. Food was ok, but not worth what I paid IMO. My daughter got the prime rib princess cut, she loved it and it looked good. I got the 2 inch thick New York strip steak. I ordered it medium, half of it came rare, the other half was medium to medium rare. I understand it is an extra thick steak, but if you can't cook it properly then don't serve it.
