"The service at this restaurant was extremely slow. We had a reservation for 6pm but our order was not taken until 40 minutes later. Our food did not arrive until 7:40pm, and we were on the verge of leaving, something we had never done before. The children were patient, but their meals came after the adults'. The bus boy was helpful, but the waitress was hardly seen. The restaurant seemed understaffed and the service was a far cry from what I remember growing up with at the Roycroft. I visited the new "pub" being set up in the former library, and the modern design clashed with the historic architecture of the building. Overall, my birthday dinner was a major disappointment."

Really neat find. I had the French onion soup and the short ribs. Both were excellent. They also had some interesting non-alcoholic cocktails. Service was very good, value for money adequate and maybe above average for the quality. Don’t go to East Aurora much but if I do again, I’ll be back.

I have visited this restaurant for brunch a few times before, but today was the most disappointing experience I have had at Roycroft Inn. The service was extremely poor, as our server mostly ignored us throughout the meal. We were only able to get coffee refills because another table had left a pot of it nearby. Made a reservation months ahead and still had to wait for them to move our table. Dinner took forever to arrive!Food was cold- everyone at the table had cold food. Waiter dropped the food off and Never returned to see how it was. Never returned until to leave dessert menu! We arrived at left at Way too long! And they had a band blasting music so loud you couldnât talk! I paid a large bill for ppl for a special occasion and it was terrible.

Service was excellent. Food not as good. My husband ordered the Beef Short Ribs it came with mash potatoes vegetables. Everything was cold. He sent it back, the next dish was just warm. He didn't want to send it back again. The beef was very fatty as well. I had the pasta of the day, shrimp with penne pasta asparagus. The shrimp were very small. The sauce was pretty good. We did have a sliver of desserts, peanut butter pie strawberry shortcake. They were very good. Disappointed in the main entrees, not the food we have enjoyed in the past.
