"The Spot is dying a slow and painful death. After Stu (owner) passed away the food, service and overall experience has tanked. Our last (and I do mean last) visit we waited nearly an hour for our food and it was a slow period. Watched the manager sitting and drinking with friends instead of making sure customers were happy. When I asked the server about the decline she acknowledged it and said that the owner (Stu 's wife) just collects and check and doesn 't care about the restaurant. It shows..."

Great food but the service can be painfully slow. I placed a carry out order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. After nearly 40 minutes my salad still wasn’t ready. I understand that places get busy but if there’s gonna be a 40 minute wait, let me know that up front

After delivering our drinks waitress never came back to take order. After 15 minutes Another waitress asked if we needed anything and we said yes we would like to order. Both of us ordered hamburgers . Took over 40 minutes to get food . Meat was overcooked and burger was so messy with excess mayonnaise you couldn't hold burger. Enjoy my money because I will NEVER go back. Original waitress never came by to check on us. No drink refills.

"Publix sushi is hands down better than the sushi at this restaurant. The portions here are very small, more like sample sizes. The kids' grilled cheese was just okay, but the fries were tasty. The eel was overcooked and resembled canned tuna. The atmosphere seems to cater to younger adults with less developed palates. The portion sizes were small, like a Barbie doll playset. The staff were friendly. There are no military discounts available unless you are in uniform, which is unfortunate as military personnel are not supposed to wear uniforms when off duty. There are no military bases nearby, so this policy seems unnecessary. For us, Publix sushi will remain the best option."

"The avacado fries were very unique and interesting, if a little bland. They'd be great if they had a little spice to them. The tuna was ok, not something I would order again. The lamb was AMAZING! The best I've had in years. Better, cheaper and a larger serving than a couple of doors down. Very nice beer selection. Nice bourbon selection. I have been to this place a couple of times and it was never very busy. This place is absolutely underrated. One of the better spots in town."

"This restaurant is absolutely amazing! My husband and I visited recently while exploring this lovely area. The food was outstanding! I ordered the Cuban sandwich and my husband tried the banana and peanut butter French toast. It was so delicious that even Elvis would have loved it! The service was incredibly friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for breakfast before leaving. The raspberry French toast was incredible and my husband couldn't get enough of the biscuits and gravy. We highly recommend this restaurant!"
