"Ordered a breakfast platter omelet was okay, potatoes were okay, and the toast was toast. Son ordered an enormous cheeseburger must've been a pound of meat. It was cooked properly and served on appropriate bread huge bun! He also ordered fries and they were what all fries are. The service was polite (not friendly, but certainly polite) and quick. The atmosphere is...........really dark. It's dark and dated and could be SO much more inviting with brighter walls and better placed country decor. Also do something about the placement of tables near the bathroom. Put a service station or something near there so people going in and out of the bathroom aren't encroaching on people who are sitting at the tables that look directly into the toilet facility."

"My friend and I went to Kathy's Cafe after our AirBnB host recommended it. When we arrived, it was quite busy, so we expected a bit of a wait. However, all the staff on the floor made eye contact with us at least once and then looked away without acknowledging us. Once we were seated, our waitress was friendly and we felt a bit more welcome. The food we ordered was not as advertised and it was overpriced. I ordered the house special and was disappointed by the presentation and taste - it was overly salty and the cheese slices didn't help. My friend ordered eggs, sausage, and potatoes and was also let down. Everything was overcooked to the point where it was slightly burnt. We left a lot of our meal uneaten when our server returned and cleared our plates. Unfortunately, she seemed disappointed and quickly left after asking us how everything was. Then we were presented with the bill. I wanted to ask for a glass of water, but the staff seemed to go out of their way to avoid us. We were excited to try this cafe based on recommendations, and we love supporting local businesses, but if we're in the area again, we'll try somewhere else for breakfast."

"The food was decent, and I was pleasantly surprised by how generously filled the chalupas were. I placed my order through the app and was hoping to get some breakfast salsa for my chalupa. However, when I reached the speaker and asked for it, the girl had an attitude and said, “That’s because we don’t serve breakfast here.” I know I should have paid more attention to the signs all around that say “breakfast,” but I didn’t realize they didn’t serve any. When I got to the window and requested a paper receipt, I felt like I was bothering the employee. As for the cheesy fiesta potatoes, they had a taste that reminded me of plastic."

"Nice place, wings were good, but small, and NOT worth $16. Fish was good. Chicken Alfredo, tasted like jar sauce, $5 extra for chicken. You get 5 small, TOUGH (hard to chew) pieces. How you see my plate in the picture, is what was sent back to be thrown away. A real nice waitress, sat us down, said so so will be right with you. Well, she was kinda busy, fluffing her hair, talking to the guys at the bar. Not interested in her tables. And do you think she even asked is anything wrong with the Alfredo? , or even, We can reimburse you for the chicken, since obviously, there was something wrong with it? Nope, lucky she even came over to take the plates. I had to ask the other waitress, when my drink was low. Later, found out 1/2 price wings on Friday nights. What we ordered in the pix, and 2 white Russians.....over $80!!!! Definitely won 't be going back. "This restaurant is a true representation of Americana at its finest. The food is excellent, the ambiance is welcoming, and the staff is top-notch. I will definitely be returning in the future. The atmosphere of the restaurant perfectly suits the surrounding area. This hidden gem is a must-visit."
