"Prices are typical of a fine dining restaurant very high; but without knowing the quality/background of the people that prepare the food (ex., cooks versus bonafide formally trained chefs) I couldn 't say if the prices charged were worth it. The food was very good, although, the prime rib one person in our party of 4 seemed to be cooked 'rare ' instead of 'medium ' as he had ordered it. Beautiful location and views, though, and very good service. Parking: Parking is in the hillside along a steep driveway with two parking lots at different levels, so be prepared for that. The parking lots are also not level. I didn 't look close enough to determine if it was wheelchair accessible, so I would recommend calling the restaurant first. If it is and the top lot is full, you should drop off people with limited mobility first, then go find parking in the lower lot. I 'm assuming there 's enough parking for the maximum occupancy of the restaurant."

"We accidently went to the wrong Italian restaurant. We thought we had reservations here, despite not having them, we were seated quickly. Its a cozy Italian restaurant with some great Italian food. Our waiter was very attentive and gave great customer service. The menu isn't that big but the portions are. That being said, there are plenty of classics so my 2 children 7&14) had no issue finding something they would enjoy. I would say get there earlier than your reservation as parking is very limited. If it's peak season or a weekend I would highly recommend setting a reservation. Most of the parking in the back is for the hotel next door with towing signs."

"The food is really excellent! There are plenty of items on the menu to choose from. Charlotte Kalina were very attentive friendly servers. Tom is the owner and does a lot of great things for the community and other great charitable causes. "My fiance and I were vacationing in Tahoe with some friends and we decided to break away to have a date night here. When we made reservations we noted that it was for a date night and they sat us down at a table that was next to the window and what a view! It really set the tone for our night and made it so special. I wish I remembered our waiter's name because he was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of all night. The customer service was excellent! My fiance and I both started off with some martinis and we had a really nice time sipping on our drinks while watching the sunset. For starters we each ordered the lobster bisque. The creaminess and richness of the lobster pieces was really soothing on a cold night. I thought it would come out as a cup, but to my surprise it was a bowl of soup. We probably could've just ordered one and shared that bowl of soup between the two of us. For entree, my fiancé ordered from the prix fixe menu and for additional charge he got the cowboy steak, which was a really good deal. For a la carte the cowboy steak is $140, but the prix fixe menu is $100 and an additional $50 for the cowboy steak. So for $10 more you get an appetizer and dessert essentially. Now that's a steal! I got to try some of his steak and it was so delicious and prepared well. We went to Hell's Kitchen 2 days prior where he had ordered a steak and let me tell you...he preferred the cowboy steak. It was that good! I myself ended up ordering 2 appetizers as my entree tuna tartare and half a dozen of oysters. The tuna tartare sat in a bed of thick soy sauce and it was overpowering and I couldn't really enjoy it. I told my waiter this and he immediately took it back and took it off the bill. If it wasn't for the too much sauce it would've been a really good dish. But I still give this place a 4 star because of the excellent customer service. My waiter felt bad that he offered to bring me some shrimp and crab, but unfortunately I was already full and knew I couldn't eat anymore or else I would've taken up on his offer. To end the night my fiance had the chocolate cake from his prix fixe menu and it was a perfect and decadent sized cake to end the night. This was definitely an experience and hope to be back one day to try their other dishes."
