"The food here is quite good and reasonably priced, which is why we keep returning. However, the staff always seem unhappy. My wife and I have visited many times, and I've yet to see a single employee smile or express gratitude. This has been our experience mainly during the weekends, which is when we typically come. If they ever increase their prices to match the outrageous rates at other restaurants, we will likely stop visiting. It seems that when we dine elsewhere, we're paying extra for a friendly atmosphere, while here, we get unappreciative staff but at a more affordable price."

Wow, don't underestimate this place! It's even better than Pie We and Pander Expression. I have to say, the teriyaki here is amazing!

I regularly order lunch for my company, and they never disappoint with large orders. The food always tastes amazing, and the prices are very reasonable for takeout.

Consistently the best food among all locations of Tokyo Express! Every day, I opt for the teriyaki chicken dish paired with a salad and a Pepsi instead of pizza. Simply put, it's EXCELLENT and EXCEPTIONAL! Voir le carte

This has been one of my favorite places since my high school days. It provides me with a comforting and nostalgic dining experience. While there have been a few noticeable changes, the classic dishes I love are still available on the menu. If you haven't tried it yet, I definitely recommend giving it a visit!

I've been visiting this Japanese fast food restaurant since the 1990s. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are generous. However, during my last couple of visits, the service was slower than normal, and I experienced some issues with cash transactions, possibly due to being short-staffed. Despite this, I intend to return for takeout.

I've been a fan of Tokyo Express for years, but I hadn’t visited in a while. When I tried to place a phone order on my way there, they answered the call but immediately put me on hold and never returned. So, I decided to order in person. The staff member who helped me barely spoke two words and was not friendly at all. Tokyo Express, you can do better! Voir le carte

I hadn’t visited this place in more than 20 years! The interior was bright and well-maintained. The staff member who took our order was friendly. We tried the spicy chicken teriyaki and the curry chicken. The curry chicken was fantastic and just as I remembered it. My husband felt the spicy chicken wasn’t very spicy, but someone with a lower tolerance might find it to be. I’m so glad we decided to stop in for lunch, and we will definitely return!

The food here is truly some of my favorites in town. The teriyaki sauce is delicious and always served piping hot. I can't get enough of the salad dressing—it's my all-time favorite! The salads may be simple, but they're always fresh and cool. I've never been disappointed; every meal feels nutritious, and I always leave feeling great! I absolutely love this place! I've been dining here since the eighties, and now I travel more than 30 miles just to enjoy it!

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
