"I love Toscanini’s.I don’t know how many times I’ve eaten here but today I enjoyed a split micro of Green Tea and Coconut Pandan and was convinced that I needed to share my love for this shop.Everything is great: Banana Bourbon, Strawberry, Chocolate #3 (well anything chocolate for that matter), anything containing coffee, Earl Grey, B3… you name it, it’ll be good. What makes Toscanini’s ice cream so special is how balanced and flavorful it is. The flavor it advertises is what you get — not some flavored cream with a thin veneer of whatever flavor it masquerades around as. What really impressed me was the Coconut Pandan today. I’m of Southeast Asian descent so naturally anything containing Pandan (aka Screwpine) gets me excited. It’s the Vanilla of SE Asia, and it’s delightful, fragrant, and tasty. Toscanini’s nailed the Coconut Pandan flavor — not too creamy, not too coconut-y, not too pandan-y. It’s the Goldilocks of the two flavors, just right.“Just right” describes all the ice cream here. It’s not too cream forward and not too sugar forward. It’s the perfect balance of the two that allows the intended flavor to come through.Anyway, I’m a huge fan and I’m so glad Toscanini’s is in Cambridge. I honestly think about that day I move out of Cambridge and the fact that I may be so far away from Toscanini’s…"

Great flavors. Favorite flavor is Vienna finger! Two big tables to sit and eat ice cream. Would refer to have more bar tables along the windows

Delicious! The ice cream is rich and creamy, made with high-quality ingredients. Toppings are included, which is a nice touch. They also have a tent with a large umbrella and a nut butter floor, creating a unique and enjoyable atmosphere.

The restaurant offers fantastic and unique flavors with a great selection. After contemplating the usual tiramisu, I ultimately chose the blueberry sorbet since it’s an uncommon flavor that I had never tried before. I highly recommend it – it’s delicious, slightly tangy, and not overly sweet. I would definitely return! Voir le carte

I got the mocha cookie dough flavor in a micro scoop. The ice cream was incredibly rich and creamy, and I liked that they really packed the cup. I wish there were more cookie dough chunks--the mocha flavor was really strong and almost overpowered the cookie dough. I also sampled the Milo Godzilla and Blackberry Fluff flavors, which were both delicious.

This ice cream shop is incredible, located right in the heart of Cambridge! They offer an amazing variety of flavors, including Milo, Alphonso Mango, and Burnt Caramel. Everything is made fresh in-house, which truly sets it apart from other ice cream businesses in Boston. The atmosphere reflects the wonderful culture curated by the founder/owner. The staff is exceptionally friendly, so please consider leaving a generous tip, as many of them are students.

The cold temperatures didn't stop me from getting ice cream. Small (2 scoops) $5.75 perfect size as the ice cream is super creamy and thick.Banana Bourbon I love banana ice cream and this did not disappoint. It's basically B3 base but with banana and bourbon. The banana flavor comes through first with an aftertaste of the bourbon. I actually wished the bourbon didn't come through as much. Because of the alcohol content, the ice cream isn't as thick.Cookie Dough I'm normally not a fan of cookie dough but I really enjoyed this. The cookie dough pieces were the perfect size because you didn't need a lot of ice cream with each bite. Voir le carte

The employees seems quite conflicted on what type of service they want to provide. They seem good but not friendly. We were there around 8:30 at night and there wasn't a line or such as the staff would like to suggest. There was 1 group behind us and we asked to try a flavors and they straight up said no. They're like we're short staffed. It's an ice cream shop and there are 2 employee already. How many employees do you need to be able to let customers try flavors. I had my nephew who's 8 wanted to try some new flavors but how do you explain to a child that.Ice cream seemed decent. They're out of most of good flavors, the main reason why anyone would go so it was like any other ice cream shop...

The ice cream slaps. The customer service? Slaps you back. Came in excited to try some wild and funky flavors (because let’s be real, they’ve got some bold ones , but the energy behind the counter was giving “I hate it here.” The woman serving us looked annoyed before we even said a word. Then she rushed us to order—even though we were clearly off to the side, not holding up the line. When we finally stepped up and asked for a few samples (because, hello, who blindly commits to “goat cheese guava surprise” without tasting it? , she acted like we asked her to churn the batch from scratch. And listen—what made it even more disappointing is that she was the only BIPOC employee, and somehow mana...

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
