I order from this restaurant maybe once a week! Their udon combo is at such a good price and it's really tasty! Win win: the waiters are super nice especially the woman who is usually at the front. I recommend this place! 10/10:

The service was horrible. While I was ordering my food, the woman at the register told me it was enough food, pretty much stopping me from ordering any more. I do not appreciate being judged, and called out in front of other customers, on the amount of food that I am paying to eat because I was hungry. The food was not good at all, very bland and basic. The salmon did not look appetizing, and the rest of the food did not have much flavor. I will definitely not be going back to eat here or for the woman's opinion on what I should be eating or not.

The sushi and udon were absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the extra vegetables in the soup, which my kids picked out, leaving me to enjoy them instead. The broth was rich and flavorful, not at all watery like in some other places, which I really appreciated. The sushi tasted fresh, and the tempura stayed crispy throughout the meal. I also tried the spicy roll, which featured some nicely spicy jalapeños, and I loved it. Overall, the food was fantastic and the service was excellent! I noticed the cashier was very engaging with another family dining there, showing genuine care for them and their children. I was surprised to find this little gem so busy. My son and I have been going to Tokyo T&S for years and have always liked it. The owner, Andy, was always very nice, generous and helpful. I went again on Oct. 17, 2015 and was shocked to see a new owner at the counter. He confirmed that the place changed hands, but that the menu is the same and staff is also the same. The only other changes I could see were that the prices seem slightly higher and the hours are longer. They are now open from Monday through Saturday, 11 AM to 9 PM. That change is good for me since I nearly always get there shortly before closing, so I'm happy about that. The new owner, Chuck, seems to be very nice, just like the former owner was.
