Tranquilatea Tea Room

a dozen or so of my P.E.O. capitels met for the day. great selection of tees; sweets and sweets were fresh and tasty. bonus: nice items in the gift shop for Porcelain/Knoblaue China-Süchte.

A warm atmosphere provides a relaxing time to visit with friends while enjoying a delicious array of tasty pastries, sandwiches and desserts. The wide variety of teas in endless pots is an experience to savor.

The Queen's Tea was delightful. The peach bisque was exceptional. I appreciated the opportunity to sample a variety of teas. The atmosphere was wonderful—calm and serene, with beautiful tea sets that adorned the rooms. The servers were friendly and attentive. Voir le carte

TranquilaTEA is a wonderful place for a mother and daughter date. The tea is fantastic there are so many varieties it is hard to decide. Nancy and Laura are the sweetest people, very hospitable. Truly an experience, highly recommend. We already booked our second visit

I loved it it’s hard to find a good afternoon tea place in Maryland before I moved I lived close to a tea place that I loved and would frequently eat at so when I moved I missed it and I tried to find a replacement but none of the places I tried came close until I went to this tearoom the sandwiches were my favorite the store had many things to buy the employees were nice and even though it a bit of a drive I will come back.as soon as I can

Wonderful tea room! I take my mother here for special occasions, such as her birthday or Mothers Day. She loves it and I must admit I do too. The food is delicious and the service is always excellent. My daughter is now old enough to come, and she adores having a fancy tea party with the grown-ups They do a great job of accommodating for her too.I highly recommend this tea room and will be returning. I’m kicking myself for it making time to actually dine in the store, I will definitely be back for that experience. I did however buy some things from their shop. The attendants were so friendly and helpful.I bought the almond cookie green tea, the lavender lemon herbal tea, and the pineapple upside down cake tea.Wow!!! The latter is absolutely delicious.I also had the almond cookie, just as equally yummy, and my cousin had the lavender lemon and told me it was wonderful.They make excellent gifts and they also have an array of tea pots and tea cups with saucers to accompany the loose leaf tea.Do not pass an opportunity to visit this adorable and special place. I can’t wait to visit again.

Of the many Tea Rooms that the women in our family have gone to, over the years, this one was the best, by far. The perfect Tea Room experience. We had reservations for four and they were ready for us. They gave each table a time limit of an hour and a half in order to accommodate the ones with reservations after us. That was plenty of time to relax and enjoy without rushing.The food, and the staff, and the set-up, everything thing was Top-Notch. The food is unique and delicious...seems homemade. The selection of Teas is fantastic. The place has two rooms for use and both were full. We loved that they had had a selection of hats for those who wanted to wear one. To the owner who may read this: I asked if there were other types of scones available, and I was told no. I inquired about the types of sandwiches three or four times, but it hardly mattered since they were so small. The vegetarian sandwiches we ordered were mixed with the regular ones, making it difficult to identify them, and I kept having to ask about what was what. The answers were inconsistent and frustrating. I would have kept my criticism to myself if the total had been $30, but at $90, I felt ripped off. Thank you for nothing!
