"Charming neighborhood Mexican restaurant. As soon as you enter, there's a community seating area that creates a cozy small-town atmosphere, where neighbors can enjoy a meal and engage in conversation. A jukebox adds to the ambiance in the corner. I really appreciated that they serve breakfast all day! I ordered migas, accompanied by two French fries and refried beans for $15, which felt a bit steep for a meatless option. My friend opted for three Cabeza tacos priced at $13. I believe my migas should have been in the $10-$12 range. While the salsa was flavorful, it was a bit watery. Overall, the food was good, and the servers were attentive and friendly."

I spent $60.00 on 6 tacos, rice, 4 lemonades, huevos rancheros, and a coffee. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.

The service was fantastic!! More importantly the food was fresh and delicious. Best homemade tortillas that I have had. The milanasa and the chile rellenos were so good. I will definitely be back. This family owned business is worth the trip!! The ambiance is cozy and quaint.

The food lacked flavor, and my mom's faults were essentially burnt. I ordered a regular breakfast plate, but the pancakes were rubbery. The staff were fine, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but the food just didn’t deliver. They also took an extra $5 tip that I initially left, but at this point, that's not a big deal. I probably won't be coming back; I was just looking for something to eat that day, and it wasn't worth it in my opinion.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
