"Our first visit to this diner. I ordered a cheesesteak. First bite and I heard a crunch. I found a sharp shard I assume was from a broken plate. I sent everything back and was afraid to try anything else. I was disappointed that the manager never came to apologize. The waitress didn’t seem to be phased, but did say she was sorry. Sadly we won’t be back. We love our local diners and want to support them. I hope your visit is a better one, if you decide to go."

It's a 2 star dumpy diner. It's NOT some great diner. The service is not good ever, the food is not good ever.. it's a real mediocre diner.. if your lazy, want a semi fast, sorta cheap, half homecooked meal... here it is.

Classic diner. Gigantic menu with all of your favorites. My scrambled eggs and ham were typical, nicely done, and served hot. The server was friendly. There is plenty of off-street parking. Whenever I am in Allenrown, I try to have breakfast here. I am glad the Trivet survived the pandemic.
