I visited this restaurant for the first time based on a friend's recommendation, but I was not impressed at all. My husband ordered the shell plate, which was the Friday special, and it didn't meet our expectations. The shells were overcooked and the portion size didn’t justify the price. I ordered a pizza that tasted like it was made with jarred sauce! The peppers were undercooked, and the fresh mozzarella I requested was nearly nonexistent. I probably won't be coming back.

I gave this restaurant multiple chances—at least six. The food I picked up was cold, they substituted items without informing me, and what was supposed to be a 20-minute wait ended up taking an hour. The issues just keep piling up. I decided to give them one more try when they started offering pizza delivery, but the driver wasn’t available that night. It seems like the owners don’t care at all. Honestly, I recommend sticking with Poor Peoples Pub; at least they show they care about their customers.

They even replaced some of my items without informing me. What should have been a 20-minute wait turned into a whole hour. It’s just one issue after another. I was hopeful when they started offering pizza delivery, but it looks like they don’t have drivers available tonight. The owners seem indifferent to the problems. I called tonight to go, took it up, took it home and was disappointed. I ordered something that pork had drawn in whoever I spoke on the phone obviously neglected to write drawn pork so that I ended up with corn chips, cheese, a few jalapinos, your cream, the best part of the dish missing, I mean, I could have thrown this together. The chicken wings were delish. It happens a lot. The people who take orders over the phone should only do that, not talk to someone who passes or does something else. You have to pay attention to one thing at a time. Very disappointed.

I called this evening to place a takeout order. After picking it up and bringing it home, I found myself quite disappointed. I had ordered a dish that included pulled pork, but unfortunately, the person I spoke with on the phone didn't note that part of the order.
