Uptown Espresso - Carte

I'm thrilled that this place is back in business! They serve the most delicious lattes, and it's incredibly convenient to pick one up before taking a stroll along the waterfront.

This café has an excellent location for enjoying a cup of coffee. The coffee itself was fantastic. We also ordered breakfast burritos, which were pre-made and heated up, but they still tasted great.

Coffee was pretty good but a bit weak in my opinion. The lines were WAY better than anything up by the market (only 2 people in front of us). Tables outside to sit at. Out of almost all baked goods by 10:30am. Voir le carte

Great location with outdoor seating, right on the water. Easily accessible from the Elliott Bay Trail. The barista was super kind the coffee was great. I tried the cafe mezzo (half americano half latte) and it really hit the sweet spot for milk to espresso ratio. I’ll be back!

I asked for an extra creamy latte (typically called a breve it replaces milk with half and half, but it’s not on the menu). The barista was rude and reluctant to make it. The coffee itself was delicious but something about paying $8 for a coffee from someone so cranky left me unsatisfied.

Talk about velvet foam! I really enjoyed my lattes from Uptown Espresso during my visit to Seattle. Not to mention it was just a short walk from my hotel which was super convenient. The pastries were also really delicious. The prices seemed comparable for the area. I wish we had a place like this in my hometown. Voir le carte

The café may be small and modest, but the barista crafted some of the finest lattes I've enjoyed in months, and I'm quite particular about my coffee. They serve Fonté coffee and create their own pastries, which looked delightful, though we weren't in the mood to try any. From now on, I’ll make it a point to visit Uptown whenever I'm at the waterfront.

When I still worked in the office, I came through Uptown Espresso every morning! Loved the baristas on rotation and the coffee was consistently good. Sometimes I treat myself with an amaretto biscuit jam! I’ve only been by this location a few times this summer, but despite a few changes (hours, staff, etc. , things have still been good in terms of quality.

The espresso here is excellent, but the place seems to cater more to tourists, so don't expect a lot of local support. It's labeled as temporarily closed, and I visited about a week before its seasonal closing, which is disappointing because it's a shame that local businesses aren't receiving more patronage. The manager I spoke with was very friendly. It's a cozy little spot next to the sculpture park and Pier 70. Voir le carte
