"The pork enchiladas were fantastic, and the pico de gallo was incredibly fresh, with tomatoes still in season. The pork tamales were also excellent. Our server, Zochilt, was wonderful; she offered great suggestions and was very attentive throughout our meal. The premium margarita was outstanding and bursting with flavor. I hadn't visited in years, but I'm delighted to see that Raymundo is still delivering an authentic experience."

"Some of the worst food I have ever eaten. First of all, when you open a restaurant that is in the same location as a previous restaurant, CLEAN the place! The windows had the same grease from the previous restaurant and the ceilings and walls were DIRTY, GREASY, and YELLOWED. Also, if you can 't afford to clean the floors with the greasy linoleum and at least put in some new tables, DO NOT OPEN!! The little tables in the middle were painted black with chips of paint coming off. I can only hope that the paint they used was NON-TOXIC!! Also, UPDATE your menus. When I asked what type of bottled water they had, I was told by the waitress that they only had tap water. When I asked if I could have a side salad, I was told they don 't offer that. Why were these items on the menu if you DO NOT offer them. Then the waitress told me they had pink lemonade but not to order it because another customer did and it was watery . When I ordered the grilled chicken breasts, I specifically asked if they were actually grilled or fried, I was told they were grilled. When my food was brought out, the chicken breasts were lightly breaded and fried, NOT GRILLED. Also, my order was brought out with white rice not the Puerto Rican rice. When my order came back, I miraculously had beans and lettuce on my plate. Also, my son 's order had to be sent because he was given white rice and NOT Puerto Rican rice. That being said, the taste of the food was not anything to write home about. I feel that this restaurant should know better especially since they are already in the restaurant business. I would hate to see what there East Chicago location is like. Also, I am sick and tired of all the good reviews. It seems like people just eat anything anymore without a standard of quality and knowing what 's good. This is just another mediocre Hobart restaurant. Tania 's, CLEAN this place up !!! P.S. I glad I didn 't get to see the bathroom!!!!"

"This place was a disappointment from the customer service to the food, but especially the food. The pizza wasn't fully cooked! The crust looked yellow and resembled cornmeal—it just wasn't done. The pasta was also poorly prepared; it was stuck together, and the sauce didn’t taste right. While I'm not completely upset, I’ve been trying out different pizza spots around Hammond, and now I know I won’t be returning here. What a waste of $33!"

"I ordered a Diet Coke, which was smooth and came with a complimentary refill, and I also selected a small Margarita from the drinks menu for $8.99, served standard with lime on the rocks and a salted rim. The Margarita had a unique sweet and sour taste that I surprisingly enjoyed, even though it seemed a bit pricey; it definitely had a nice kick! For our appetizers, we ordered the Nachos topped with Suizo cheese, sour cream, and jalapeño slices. We opted for a quarter order with chicken for $6.99. I also got the Carne Asada from the dinner menu for $14.99, which came with corn tortillas, rice, and beans. The Nachos were fantastic—thick, flavorful cheese made them a highlight. The Carne Asada was cooked well and tasted great, especially when wrapped in the delicious tortillas. The rice and beans were satisfying as well. Service was commendable; our server was attentive and polite, providing everything we needed. Overall, I was happy with my experience and might consider returning in the future.
