"Bhutanese dishes are known for being spicy, flavorful featuring cheese, peppers, and meat. The spot is attached to a small pool hall, which is pretty cool. It's right off the 7 train, so easy to get to.We started with their national dish called Emma datsi. Fresh green peppers, cheese, garlic and tomatoes. This was really good and mixed with the red rice. We asked them to cut back on the spice heat level as we heard it can get really spicy.Shakam Maru a hearty stew with. sun-dried beef strip l, garlic, ginger, scallion, cheese, tomato and green chillies. This soup dish was flavorful and good on a chili day. The jerky is chewy but was easy to bite on. Really good flavor in the stew.Pork ribs garlic, scallion, sun-dried red chilli, onion, tomato fried and sautéed in soy sauce. We found this a little dry for our taste.Pork Chili sautéed inOnion, garlic, tomato, ginger, pepper, soy sauce and chili flakes was really good and we mixed it with the rice.Tingmo a steamed bread was used to soak up the sauce. It's soft and looks like a biscuit. It came out hot.The red rice had a nutty flavor and is served with all dishes.Everything was great. They were very attentive. There is a stage with a mic in one corner for customers to sign Bhutanese songs."

Authentic bhutanese dish, good vibe and service. Nice setting with large two snooker for a friendly family game.

Delicious food, accommodating service, very reasonable prices. I've dined there twice in large groups and everyone was very satisfied.

If you've never had Bhutan food before, be prepared as they Like their food very spicy but there are some things that are a little milder.

Awesome snooker and awesome food. Is Bhutanese food I think. A lady in there had to translate for us. It is that awesome. Only had two snooker and two dining tables. Ordered something that was like pork belly. Was amazing. Voir le carte

Honestly was a little unsure of the food at first. It is definitely worth a try if you never have Bhutan food at first. Their specialty tea taste like salted butter, first thought it was really nasty but harmonized really well with their other dishes.

If you are craving for an authentic Bhutanese cuisine, this is the place to go. They have renovated the restaurant and now, looking cozy and welcoming. It could be spicy and so, before you make an order, make sure to ask about your reference of spices.Highly recommended!!! Voir le carte

If you wish to experience authentic Bhutanese food in New York, Weekender is the place to go. They had everything bhutanese, the food and the vibes. I've had momos in few different countries but they served us the best momos. Highly recommend this place, if anyone want to try Himalayan food from the kingdom of Bhutan. Food was really great and unique! We got the spicy dried beef with cheese and it was definitely a dish with flavor profiles we’d never tried before. Suja tea was good. Note: It might look closed from the outside because the metal gates are always down, but it was open and there’s cool decor inside. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Atmosphere: 5
