"Based on fabulous reviews, we took the time to drive up there from Tallahassee for lunch today. It was totally disappointing. First of all the hostesses and wait staff were unfriendly and inattentive. Then the food was poor quality. I ordered the Heirloom Tomato Avocado Caprese. The heirloom tomatoes were not ripe. Same with the Avocado, it was crunchy and tasteless and of course the mandarin oranges were canned. Then came the American Burger. I had ordered it with mayonnaise, When I lifted the patty with my fork to see if there was mayonnaise under it, it was apparent that the patty had been burned on the broiler and the cook turned the burnt side down and served it. I sent it back. When my companions had finished their lunch my burger had still not come back out of the kitchen. The Cast Iron Skillet Cornbread had so much sugar in it that you could not taste the cheese and roasted Hatch green chilies. My wife ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Now we know that pulled pork is cooked in advance and has to be heated up to serve. No problem with that except it had been heated unevenly so that parts of it were still refrigerator cold and other parts just tepid. It came without barbecue sauce. When she asked for some the waitress said that they hadn 't made the sauce yet and it would be out shortly. Shortly was about ten minutes. I guess this was good because it gave time for the temperature of the meat to even out. When the sauce did come out, she found it too spicy to eat. I like hot spiced food but when I tasted the sauce I have to agree, it was too spicy to be served in a restaurant without warning. To their credit, everything that we complained about was taken off the bill. But, I was amazed that at a table with such a disastrous meal nobody from management ever came by the table to apologize. It 's like nobody cared. In the question below of how much did we spend, I checked $50-$100 per person because we intended to have the whole shown, appetizer, entrée, and dessert. With everything removed from the bill we actually paid about $10 per person ."

"I visited Bainbridge to escape Hurricane Milton, and I had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was really enjoyable, and the food was excellent. The butterballs were absolutely delicious! I wish we had an Uncle Bill's in our hometown. The staff was incredibly friendly, too. If we ever find ourselves in this area again, we will definitely return. Thank you! "Such a great place to stop in at any point of the day. Need to start your morning right...go to the Bean. Had a messy morning...restart with the Bean. Want to meet a friend out for coffee, tea, or lunch...choose the Bean. The atmosphere is straight out of your local hometown nostalgia. The service makes you feel like their favorite customer. The food is deliciousness with any choice. (Most of the time I ask whomever is at the counter what their favorite is and I haven't been disappointed) They also have bobba tea, muffins, and ice cream. So stop in for a spontaneous treat and you will leave thinking of the next time you can swing by."

"I absolutely loved this restaurant! It was my first visit, and it certainly won't be the last. I called ahead to reserve a table for 12, and we were seated in just 15 minutes. Our waitress, Crystal, was incredibly attentive to our needs. We started with the calamari and fried mushrooms as appetizers, which were both delicious—definitely a must-order! Make sure you treat yourself and order the grouper and Gulf shrimp; you can thank me later!"

"The staff at this restaurant is very friendly, greeting guests at the door and allowing them a few moments to look over the menu before taking their order. Drinks are quickly brought to the table, with a glass of water placed at each seat. The food is served hot and well-cooked, and the waitresses are nice and attentive, checking in often to see if guests need anything. They efficiently clean up the table when guests are finished eating, but there is no rush to leave; guests are allowed to visit with family and friends unless the restaurant is very busy. The bill is discreetly placed in a check folder for privacy, and payment is collected promptly with change returned right away. If guests are not ready to eat, they can get a takeout container and/or cup to take their drink with them. The staff offers to refresh drinks as guests leave their table and engage in friendly conversation with patrons. Overall, it is a great place to eat, with a beautiful atmosphere and just the right lighting."
