"ZERO STARS!!! I am absolutely DISGUSTED at the service we experienced today and will NEVER be returning to this establishment. The manager on duty was the most disrespectful woman I have ever encountered and should be fired immediately. We came in for a birthday celebration for my grandma and had 8 people plus one baby (8months). Since they only sit 8 at a table, we were told that since the baby would be sitting with us, that we couldn’t all sit together. They separated our party and forced the two teenagers to sit by themselves in a booth where they couldn’t even talk to the rest of our party. We politely requested that we all sit together, and even moved the high chair so that the baby wouldn’t be taking an extra seat (he sat in his mothers lap). The manager insisted that we could absolutely not sit all together because there were “9 heart beats,” even though the baby was not taking up any additional room. She continued to argue with us and was incredible rude for the remainder of our time spent there. Her reasoning for refusing to accommodate us was because she couldn’t make exceptions or other people would take advantage of that. I completely understand having specific procedures and expectations for guests, but to count a BABY as a paying patron/fully functioning guest is ridiculous- especially when we made arrangements to ensure that the baby wouldn’t be taking up additional room. When we asked for a supervisor/owner or contact information to relay our experience, she refused to give us this information. We left before even being served since we weren’t even able to sit together. I am disgusted at how we were treated this evening and will never be returning. It is my hope that the manager (larger elderly woman, since she refused to give us her name as well) is terminated immediately since we will be relaying our awful experience to everyone we know. As a server, I have NEVER been treated so awfully by a person that should be trained in customer service. Based on the other reviews, people agree that the service is awful."

Alaskan king crab legs and lobster was amazing. But steak and salmon had no flavor at all. Defiantly wasn't the wow factor that I thought I was going to get going in when read the reviews.Food: 3/5

Ate there to have their fried Lake Erie Perch. It didn't seem as good as I remembered from 10 or so years ago. The rest of our tabled loved their food. Service was good, and the atmosphere with old sailing paraphernalia was nice.Food: 4/5

Fantastic restaurant! I've been going there for years and it truly offers unique seafood dishes. The service is outstanding as well. I had completely forgotten about this place since I moved away 15 years ago, but I recently revisited and it’s just as wonderful as I remember. Food: 4/5.

My steak was reasonably priced and cooked to the perfect mid rare temp but it was the blandest tasting piece of meat I've ever eaten in my life. Couldn't have had even a sprinkle of seasoning on it. Fries are frozen. However my wife absolutely loved the king crab legs so it made it worth the visit.Food: 3/5

We dined with family to celebrate an anniversary. We enjoyed the fried zucchini, crab legs, shrimp scampi, grilled shrimp, and the perch. The food was first rate, service was friendly (even humorous) and the ambiance was fitting of fine dining on a peer or worf. Everyone in our party of four enjoyed our meals and a good time was had by all. Voir le carte

The food was not the same as before; they altered the spices on the blackened catfish, and it ended up tasting overly salty. The Prime Rib was mostly gristle and fat. As for the side of broccoli, they only served me one stem. The waitress didn't even inquire if I needed anything else. Overall, it was the worst meal I've ever had at this restaurant. Food rating: 3/5.

A true hidden gem! It’s just 5 minutes from our home, yet we had never heard of it until tonight when we decided to give it a try. What a fantastic choice it was! We enjoyed a variety of seafood, all of which was fresh and delicious. Our server, Natalie, was wonderful—so friendly and personable. She provided excellent recommendations, too! We can’t wait to return and sample more of the menu!

"Food quality Service Ambiance Value Menu selection Location/Accessibility Overall experience Date visited: 11/11/2023 During a weekend excursion to the vibrant city of Columbus, I seized the opportunity to indulge my palate in the diverse and rich flavors of Indian cuisine at Aab India Restaurant. Accompanied by my dining companion, KK, our culinary escapade unfolded with the promise of an extraordinary dining experience. Arriving just before noon, we found the exterior of Aab India unassuming, a subtle facade that betrayed little of the culinary marvels concealed within. The challenge of parking, however, proved a minor detour on our quest for gastronomic bliss. Having secured a spot in the Big Lot parking lot down the street, we waited outside, eagerly anticipating the moment when the doors would swing open to reveal the warmth and aromatic allure that awaited us. As the clock struck 12, the portal to this culinary haven opened, and we eagerly sought refuge from the brisk autumn air. A gracious staff member ushered us to a neatly arranged table, allowing my companion to peruse the menu while I immersed myself in the restaurant's ambiance. The interior unfolded with systematic organization—tables optimized for space, a bar counter adorned with a curated collection hinting at a storied history, and at the far end, a buffet counter laden with an enticing array of Indian culinary treasures. The decor, an elegant fusion of warmth and antiquity, transported diners to a bygone era. With its antique-inspired ceiling, floor, and furnishings, Aab India exuded an authenticity that promised an immersive dining experience. The warm color palette and tantalizing aroma further heightened the anticipation, especially as I imagined the ambiance taking on a magical allure as daylight gave way to night. Choosing the all-you-can-eat buffet, we joined a queue that mirrored our eagerness to explore the Indian culinary landscape. Labels adorned each tray, providing glimpses into the myriad dishes that awaited us. My plate became a canvas for a symphony of flavors—a scoop of herbal basmati rice, curry that was a departure from the familiar Chicken Tikka Masala, naan bread, fresh vegetables, and a dessert whose uniqueness intrigued my senses. Returning to our table, the first bites were revelations. The curry, a choreography of spices, danced on my palate, and the naan bread, while exemplary on its own, ascended to sublime heights when dipped in the curry. KK, fully immersed in the experience, relished basmati rice, Chicken Tikka, and an assortment of vegetables with evident delight. In the midst of our culinary reverie, an attentive waitress graced our table, ensuring our glasses remained filled. A managerial or culinary presence, keen on enhancing our experience, paid a gracious visit, adding a personal touch to our culinary journey. Our senses satiated and the ambiance savored, we lingered a while before bidding adieu to the burgeoning crowd. Overwhelmed by the newfound popularity, we settled the bill, generously tipping for the delightful fare and attentive service—a mere $16 per person, a paltry sum for the culinary symphony we had indulged in. Overall, Aab India Restaurant emerges as an unparalleled gem in the culinary scene of Columbus. A haven for those seeking not just a meal but a gastronomic journey, it stands as a testament to the alluring wonders of Indian cuisine. As I departed, the promise echoed—an assurance that whenever Columbus beckons, Aab India will be my chosen sanctuary for an encore of extraordinary flavors and warm hospitality."
