"If you're planning to visit during the week, Wednesday evenings are particularly enjoyable due to the sailboat races at Solomons Island. You can watch the racers head out from Zahnheiser’s Marina and return a few hours later. The menu seemed smaller than I remembered, but there were still enough appealing options. They even offer a ramen dish, which seems to reflect the current trend towards Asian fusion cuisine. We ordered the tenderloin steak and the shrimp polenta cakes, starting with the amaretto shrimp appetizer. It was just okay; the shrimp lacked flavor, suggesting they hadn’t been marinated for long. The amaretto sauce was somewhat thin and didn’t cling well to the shrimp. However, I found the sauce quite tasty when I dipped the complimentary dinner rolls into it. The 6 oz tenderloins can be prepared in various ways. I opted for the pepper-encrusted preparation, and the steak that came out was reminiscent of a steak au poivre—tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly as requested. I chose to have seasonal vegetables as a side, which turned out to be expertly prepared asparagus, along with a small pot of delicious gravy. My wife ordered the shrimp and polenta cakes, which I also tried. They were sizable, but I would call them merely decent. The tomato-based sauce on the dish had a peculiar taste that might have come from too much basil or dill, but she enjoyed it, so I suppose it’s a matter of personal preference. For dessert, we opted for the key lime pie, which was satisfactory. The service throughout the evening was excellent and unobtrusive, which is impressive given the restaurant's small size. The only downside remains the relatively high prices, with entrees typically in the mid-thirties. As always, my rating system consists of three stars for places I'd return to, four stars for those I’d like to frequent regularly, and five stars for places worth going out of my way to visit. I'm pleased to report that the Dry Dock has earned its place back in the three-star range in my system."

Small place in a great location on the water. Fantastic menu and food, beautiful view w outdoor seating. Simple wine menu w great wines, too. : I will say, my boyfriends steak was cooked opposite as he asked, but my seafood was great.

Incredible Staff, Food Drink. Go for drinks. Go for dinner. Go with friends, family or on your own and sit at the bar... Just GO! The Kale Couscous with a broiled crab cake is a personal favorite. Enjoy it with a cool white wine and you'll be hooked.

Cute this place tucked into the yachting center. We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the boats on the water. We ordered a lavender lemonade, brown derby, oyster Benedict, and ham hash. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. Easily the best place we dined in Solomon's.

Nestled away from the boardwalk area of Solomon's Island, this charming restaurant boasts a lovely view of the Back River and offers a delightful surf and turf menu. We chose the ribeye along with shrimp and lobster served on polenta, complemented by a bottle of Argentinian Malbec. It was a wonderful way to enjoy a Saturday evening. Highly recommended! Incredible view and excellent staff. We took a chance with no reservation on a Saturday evening. Tables were available inside, but we were encouraged to sit at the bar until a table outside was available. Totally worth the short wait. We decided to split an appetizer (**** dip) and an entree (rib-eye). Although the crab dip was full of lump ****, it had no flavor. The rib-eye was delicious, though, and our entree was served on separate plates (even the salad). Very classy. We will not order the crab dip again, but we will definitely return to this treasure on Solomon's Island.

My family and I dined at this restaurant last weekend, and I'm still daydreaming about the Amaretto shrimp and crab tomato appetizers. What a fantastic discovery, especially with the stunning view of the marina! I ordered the scallop and crab bake, and it was absolutely divine. We enjoyed our dinners so much that we decided to return the next morning for brunch, which did not disappoint either. The quiche of the day was incredibly delicious and practically melted in my mouth. The hostess and waitstaff were all very friendly and accommodating. This was our first visit to Solomon's Island, and I can already tell we will come back just for this restaurant!

For the most part, I thought the food was good. This is a nice little restaurant tucked away off the water. We walked in without a reservation on a Saturday night. The ambiance of the place was nice...although I thought them to be a bit overpriced. I paid $20 for a crabcake on the side, and found that it had too much breading. I ordered a ceasar salad with salmon. My salad was soggy, but the salmon was delicious. If I ever return, it would be for the blackened salmon. My sister had a side of blackened shrimp with her salmon salad. Her shrimp had too much seasoning on them. We also ordered cups of soup since they were out of rock fish fingers and had regular ice water to drink. We both paid $... Voir le carte

While I was away New Years weekend I had the chance to brunch here on NYE. Maryland is known for their crab and although it's not the season damn! Dry Dock delivered. I was torn between the Crab Eggs Benedict and the Crab and Scrambled Eggs. My counterpart went with the Benedict so in lieu of ordering the same thing (it's a major no if you dine with me) I ordered the scramble. Hot damn. Creamy eggs scrambled softly with fresh dill and lumps of fresh crab meat. It was served with an English Muffin and fresh fruit. Fruit right? I know what you're thinking. You can tell a lot about a place by their fruit side. This was a slice of soft, juicy honeydew melon, cantaloupe, pineapple, and grapes. It...

I admit, I brought a hungry toddler to this restaurant. This was not the best move. However it WAS Mother's Day brunch and I was far from the only one. I also had a solid 3:1 adult: child ratio. We had a reservation for opening time so there was a queue to get in and be seated. We ordered our drinks, the waitress disappears and eventually lets us know that they are out of the purée needed to make one of the drink specials. Not a great start. In my experience at fancier establishments, the wise server throws some milk/ straws/ bread in front of the children and makes sure we get the hell out of his/ her section ASAP through super efficient service. Unfortunately the waitress was clueless in b...
