"I recently dined at Gyu Kyu and had high hopes for a delightful evening, especially since we had made a reservation in advance. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations, leaving us frustrated and underwhelmed. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile but then promptly informed that, despite our reservation, we would need to wait an additional 30 minutes for our table to be ready. While I understand that delays can happen, a wait of that length with a reservation is quite disappointing. After finally being seated, we quickly noticed another issue: the restaurant provided us with only one menu for our party of five. This made it difficult to browse our options, let alone make a decision in a timely manner. As we finally settled in and tried to enjoy our meal, the service continued to be slow. Our server seemed overwhelmed and was often absent when we needed assistance. It took considerable time to place our orders, and even longer for our food to arrive. By the time our meals were served, we were already feeling frustrated and ready to move on rather than savor the food. While the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and the decor inviting, the lack of attention to service and the logistical missteps overshadowed any potential enjoyment. Dining out should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience, but our evening at Gyu Kyu felt more like a series of inconvenience. In summary, while the food may have potential, the experience was marred by poor service and a lack of organization. I hope this restaurant can address these issues, as it has the makings of a great place to dine. For now, I would recommend exploring other options until improvements are made."

"You are Italian and you go to Antonio. Go to Antonio's because it's a respectable restaurant, or so you read on the web. You get two takeout pizzas for $50. And nothing, you receive two 12” things that break your heart, the inedible dough, more than pizza it looks like bread dough (not even hand-rolled but pressed), mozzarella galore, the ham on the capricciosa is raw and they don't put it end of cooking but rather they bake it Of Italian in there there was only me and the wines. Maybe, and just maybe, I'd give risotto another chance, but from how we started with pizza, I doubt I'll ever have the guts to try the other things."

"We went for Valentine 's day. It was okay! Not great... but okay. The bill was around $130 (not including tip) for the two of us, which was the highest restaurant bill we 've had on a date night thus far so I was pretty disappointed that we considered the food merely decent and the service a bit less than decent... Details below for those who care to read: We entered and there was no host to take us to a table for our reservation. After I watched the waiters pass us and another couple who entered behind us, without care for around 5 or 6 minutes, I approached a waiter in the dinning area and told him we had not been helped at the front. It was another 5 or 6 minutes before anyone came to greet us. It seemed like it was our waiters first day as a waiter, which bothers me because I expect waiters-in-training at applebees, but not when I 'm spending this kind of money. He was kind, though. My beer was flat after it had a head that filled the top half of my glass and spilled over onto the table, as it was still very disturbed and growing quickly. I had the lasagna and it was okay but had very little sauce so it was a bit dry. They had three dessert options and they ran out of the one my girlfriend was looking forward to trying. Way too much money to leave with 'meh. '"

"My wife and I went for the first time since they renovated the restaurant, love the new look but the food quality is has is surprisingly really bad for a steakhouse. We used to always go for dinner and used the love the high quality ingredients and food. For species, we ordered mini beef Wellington and crab cakes. Beef Wellington was way over cooked and very chewy with very little flavor. Crab cakes used to very good, what ever changes they made, it’s also lacking in flavor. For entrees, my wife ordered grilled salmon salad. This was a terribly cooked salmon with again no flavor at all. Salmon was obviously frozen, very easy to tell by the texture and taste. I ordered a filet mignon that again had zero flavor or seasoning. The mashed potatoes and asparagus also has virtually no seasoning or flavor. Mashed potatoes also tasted frozen. Steak was so bad that I struggled to finish it. This was cooked medium rare, at least they got that part right. We used to like this restaurant, but after this experience and $150 for two people, it’s safe to say that we would never go back again. For a steakhouse that’s been around for over 75 years, lowering your food quality is something people will notice and not sustainable. People expect fresh ingredients, not frozen, and we’ll seasoned food with flavor. Highly recommend to pass this place by"

"Have been here many times and it’s always phenomenal. This last time we ordered the lobster tail and filet which is pretty pricey. Both fillets were fatty and grisly. My lobster was either over cooked or just not good. I informed our waiter and he apologized but said oh well. Not the type of service I would expect. I did not ask to speak to a manager because my husband shared his with me which was really tasty and we did finish them. Just not the quality of service or food that we have come to expect when we dine here."

"We decided to use Ida Clare to cater two work events this week. What a treat it was for everyone!! Their chicken and waffles catering service was amazing and a huge hit with our employees. We ordered multiple lunch boxes a couple days later, everything was delicious!! The apple rye and chocolate pecan pies were to die for! The catering manager was easy to work with, (critical detail! everything was hot, fresh and DELISH!! This will be a regular restaurant for us to visit. My next trip will be with my husband to eat inside, because I hear the ambience in there is great! Thanks to all the staff at Ida Clare for making our holiday special in this complicated year!!!"

"Best cheesy fries EVER, and the pineapple curry wings are yummy too! We are gluten-free so we can't enjoy most of the other food or long list of rotating tap, but they always have a couple ciders on tap, and a few more in bottles or cans, plus fun cocktails. I wish there were a little more cider variety on tap. The super long list of beers gets us jealous of all the different flavors/breweries we can't try, so we always appreciate when there is more than one new cider on the list at each visit. Also their new patio awnings are really nice, and the service is always awesome. Def one of our regular local spots."

"First of all, the food tasted great as usual. It seems like the portion side for the garlic edamame portions got smaller. We did get one of our appetizers after our sushi rolls came out. I asked the server who brought out the rolls thinking they may have forgotten about it and she said, I don 't know about your potstickers, that comes out of another part of the kitchen. That really isn 't the proper response. They eventually came out but that rubbed me the wrong way."

"The salad bar is amazing. The food would be amazing if you ever could get it. They servers started off just fine but the visits to our table got less and less until we had to ask for particular foods. It was so bad we never even were given a chance to enjoy the ribs. Our evening got started wrong when. I learned I could not even get a Bloody Mary. That is a pretty basic mixed drink. I have no issue with foreign servers but I really had a hard time understanding our server. Given we were spending $500 for the evening, I really would have expected things to be nicer. Success ruins the best of restaurants. Here is another prime example."

"Food is good, not outstanding. Very limited bar and server had little clue as to what liquors and beer they served. All four of us asked for something they do not offer. When the servers came back with the list of what they do have, when the order was changed to have something on his list the bartender came to the table and said they were out of it. Two of us ordered our grilled fish plain, no butter or sauce but it was served with both. They did fix the mistake, but the other two diners had finished eating when the new order was delivered."

"The food we had was great!! Fried mushrooms are the best I've had in a while. They were seasoned well and fried to perfection. My seafood pasta was good but the flavor could've been pumped up a little more. It tasted a little more tomatoey than you wouldexpect from a Cajun pasta. They're downfall was the boil. They don't clean their shrimp for the boils. So, on top of alreadydigging in and getting dirty, you have to go through the trouble of cleaning shrimp. That def takes away from your experience.I'll be back to try other things. They have so much on the menu to choose from."

"I ordered the beef steak, chicken tempura, and the new California roll. Right off the bat, they placed the hot chicken tempura rolls on the same plate as the California rolls, which made the Cali rolls warm and unappetizing. The beef steak was overcooked and quite tough, with mediocre seasoning—nothing impressive at all. They also managed to mess up the white rice, which is quite an achievement since it’s usually hard to get that wrong. It was rubbery and too firm. I won’t be ordering from here again; the food is overpriced for the low quality."

"A centrally located restaurant was chosen to celebrate a birthday. Everything went smoothly until one dish was delayed. It was strange that everyone else had their food except for one person. Our waiter seemed busy with other customers, but I assumed he had everything under control. Unfortunately, we had to wait while some started eating, but the manager approached us to inquire about our experience. We shared our concerns with him and he promptly resolved the issue. Despite the initial setback, the manager's quick action improved the situation. Our food and drinks were good, and we appreciated the staff singing happy birthday to us. "Well, I gotta say that this place now have some discrimination and customer service issues. On Feb 19th my sister had called and confirmed about our reservations for 15 ppl. Hey....mind you we are some professional brown ppl with $ too okay?We took our out of town guests to this place to have some good time. Failed Scenario #1 Regardless getting our tables reserved and confirmed, tables were given to other Middle Eastern group. We the Brown Ppl stood there looking like clowns to get a table. Failed Scenario #2 We didn't get served for *WATER* atleast for an hour. When water got served the waiter spilled the whole tray on few of us.. water was on our clothes,purses and shoes..again no apologies neither given anything to dry. Failed Scenario #3 Drinks were given after 50 minutes to only few not to everyone, when my my nephew approached to the waiter about it, instead of being apologetic the waiter was rude and told us off. Failed Scenario #4 Appetizers were given cold which was supposed to be warm kabobs plus naan bread was uncooked and served out of plastic bags.PATHETIC and HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!Infront of us,the there was a group of Middle Eastern family who got sitted after us WERE SERVED WITH RESPECT AND GOT WATER DRINKS,APPETIZERS AND FOOD WITHIN TIME-LINE.*This place used to be good before but now the level of customer service they give to other colors of ppl is very SHAMEFUL. "01/15/24: Thanks to TGI Fridays in Addison for a delicious and fast dining experience on a snowy day. Our server, Carter, provided excellent service as we enjoyed wings and shrimp cocktail that were served promptly and were delicious. 10/03/23: Xavier provided us with a quick and tasty dinner experience. My Bacon Cheeseburger and my wife's Shrimp were both delicious and served promptly, making for a satisfying meal. 09/01/23: We had a light dinner at half rack of ribs with broccoli and fries. Service was good, and the ribs were consistently delicious. The $2 beer special was a nice bonus. Thank you to the staff for a great experience. 08/26/23: Following church, my wife and I dined with a friend. Our favorite waiter, Shannon, greeted us warmly, sat us at a nice table, and took our order promptly. The Chicken and Cheese Pasta was creamy and delicious, while our friend enjoyed a tasty burger and fries. Thank you to Shannon and the staff for another pleasant dining experience. 08/13/23: Had a lovely Sunday lunch experience with my wife at the restaurant. We enjoyed shrimp alfredo and a kids meal of chicken fingers and french fries. Shannon, our server, ensured we were served quickly, and the food was delicious. 07/08/23: Prompt seating and quick service resulted in a delightful meal with fantastic breadsticks. "i will never visit this location again. I was just having a normal conversation with the waitress and i told her i didnt appreciate the bartender not acknowledging me as he walked by. I tip way over 20% each time. He wasnt that busy. He could have said hey whats up man or whatever. He looked me in the eyes and went on by. I felt unappreciated because my bill is normally around 80 and i always tip like 25 to 30. I was going to eventually have a one on one talk with him that night about his customer service skills...but to continue with my story, she got irritated after i said maybe he doesnt like black people. So she runs away like a crazy little white girl and all of sudden Shawn tells me to leave and he calls the police on me. I was polite to them. I was just stating my opinion on how i felt. He wouldnt listen to me when i was trying to explain what i was telling her. He just took her side. She looks like she suffers from some type of mental disorder anyway. These white women are crazy. They called the police on my black all for saying maybe he doesnt like black people....so that proved he doesnt like black people....stay away from this bar if you black folks...a black person can't even question or criticize a white person without them getting angry or frustrated....sad world we live in :Update, Tommie the GM and Shaun won't even let me go to the bar next door at Ron's place either..i didnt know they owned that place too....i went last week and they didnt have the balls to come talk to me themselves....they asked one of their employees to tell me I was banned at Ron's place too smh I wonder how that 911 call went ...probably something like this....hello, there is a black man here who's asked my waitress if i disliked black people and i want him out of here...how fast can ya'll be here i was calm the whole time...they couldnt arrest me, i didnt do anything, but i left with no issues, no big deal...the police pulled up and i was already in my uber"

"They have a separate vegan menu, the best dishes are definitely the pineapple fried rice and any soy beef dish. You can also have any of the dishes with any soy meat you’d like, just have to request it; for example, instead of healthy greens with soy squid I ask for it with soy ham. "Snuffer's never fails to impress! It's one of my favorite spots to visit. I stopped by a couple of weeks ago with my brother, and everything was fantastic. Their famous cheddar fries were as delicious as ever—I had been craving them for weeks leading up to this visit! I was so eager to dig in that I forgot to take a photo; they truly are heavenly. The fresh ingredients, the preparation, and the toppings all come together perfectly, especially when paired with their rich, creamy ranch dressing. I ordered the bacon bleu cheese burger, which was cooked to perfection, while my brother opted for the chili cheese dog. Everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious, and the service was both quick and friendly. If you haven't tried this place yet, you definitely should!"

"here's AWE-SOME. that was the best plate of eating I had my whole week in dallas. the service is fabulous. the owner came by and offered suggestions to eat and weeping. he brought a tasting of 3 red weeping for me to try and I made a choice. the food he proposed (after I told him that I had not eaten meat) was phenomenal. this court is the malai mint paneer stills $13. its special homemade Indian hut cheese (believe it or not) it does not taste like normal hut cheese it 's grilled in whatever amazing spices that they created together with swirling and green paprika and other chopped veggies. I saw a picture of the vegetarian options on the buffet on another Yelp review, but just like a fyi the buffet holds at 2:30. eating and service was worthy of yelp!"
