"We went to the Pond House this time on a Thursday night, and it was the first time I've ever been when there were no people waiting outside the door. We all ordered and waited for what seemed like twice as long as normal before the food came out. Everything looked and smelled great until my wife cut into her steak. She had ordered it well done, and it was pink all the way through. She showed it to the waitress who apologized and took it back to the kitchen. In about ten minutes, she came back with another steak, and when my wife cut through it, the steak was closer to being done than the first time, but it was still pink inside. So, the waitress took the steak back to the kitchen again and brought it back a few minutes later. Somehow, the steak still had a little bit of pink in the middle, but we were tired of waiting, so my wife ate it like it was. In the mean time, we had discovered that the rolls were black on the bottom, but rather than say anything, we put the worst ones back in the basket and ate the ones that weren't quite as badly burned. All the food did taste good, but they just don't take the time to make sure things are done the way you order them. We have problems before, and I guess that is one reason we don't eat here more than once or twice a year."
