"I ordered takeout from here, and even though the wait was quite long, it was definitely worth it. The place was incredibly busy, but the staff remained friendly, and the food was cooked perfectly. I had the fried haddock dinner with fries and coleslaw. The fries had a texture similar to potato skins and were seasoned just right. The coleslaw was creamy and delicious as well. The haddock was fantastic; my only complaint was that the beer batter was a bit thick for my liking and became soggy. However, I understand that this can happen with takeout containers. I opted for the small portion of haddock, which was still a generous size. Overall, I would absolutely eat here again!"

"I must say Bemus Point Tap House always manages to amaze me!! So honored that they hosted my daughters brunch bridal shower and Bro-dal Shower! Ladies where inside and gentlemen were setup out on the deck. They fulfilled all of our needs, catered to dietary restrictions, yummy buffet to fit all of our requests, and even a mimosa bar! They allowed us to decorate as needed. Jessie and kitchen staff did an amazing job and made the day the Adventure it needed to be! THANK YOU"

"WARNING! We ordered hamburgers from this restaurant on 10/10/09 and waited an hour for our food. When we finally received our meals, they were undercooked and unappetizing. To make matters worse, they sent back the same hamburgers we had returned after we had already spit on them, and cooked them on the same grill as the rest of the food! This is, in my opinion, incredibly dangerous. Half-eaten food from who knows whom can potentially carry diseases, and it’s all grilling right next to your meals. I'd advise you to stay away and protect your children. When we raised our concerns, two staff members informed us that this was the restaurant's policy. Dining here is at your own risk. I wouldn’t be surprised if people started asking for a side of hepatitis with their cheap meals. It's hard to see any respect in such practices. "

"Visiting from out of state we decided to eat where the locals eat. Turned out to be a good decision because the food was fresh and delicious. And the restaurant is very clean. Taco salad with chicken was huge...served in a fresh taco shell bowl with s spicy ranch dressing."

"The Memorial Day lunch and dinner we had at this restaurant was delicious. It was our first time ordering from them, and it was excellent! We ordered nine subs, each different from the others. After placing our order, we received a callback about 15 minutes later to confirm the dressing for one of the subs. We couldn't remember, so they offered to put it on the side - impressive service! Each sub was made exactly as ordered and exceeded our expectations. Despite their generous size, we could only finish half of them, which worked out perfectly for our dinner later on. We kept them in a cooler on the boat for five hours, and were pleasantly surprised by how fresh and delicious they still were for round two. We truly enjoyed our dinner. The price was also amazing - two meals for nine people, all for under $90 (less than $5 per person). We will definitely be ordering from here again."

"Having never been in this area, and after calling a couple of restaurants, we were beginning to understand that not very many area restaurants at least at this time of year are open on a Tuesday evening. After learning that the restaurant where we had planned to eat was closed, we looked across the street, and saw that The Fish was open. Oh well, let’s give it a try! The fish platter (fish chips) was as good or better than either of us had ever had. The fries (chips) were outstanding. The server was very friendly and efficient. Is it a fancy joint? No. But the food was very good, service was excellent, and the view out over the lake a pleasant accompaniment to a very good meal. We highly recommend it!"

"I really like the Ellery Cow. This place is small but they were able to sit a family if 11. The food is delicious and the decor is quirky. I 've never seen so many cows in one room before! We had just about everything in the menu between us. The kids loved the home fries, my husband raved about the beef hash, and I loved the Cindy pancake. The service was great."

"Friendly staff and locals frequent this place, even in the off seasons. We've been in town twice over 3 years and made multiple visits here each time were in town.It's mostly typical diner fare but their hashed browns are pretty solid if you like them cooked to perfection with I think a little bit of butter.Cinnamon rolls are also a solid choice. The omelettes are a good choice you can't go wrong with either.My only 2 heads ups are for coldbrew coffee and avocado people. I was intrigued by the cold brews they mentioned on their specials board. If you ever get cold brew from a coffee shop then you should probably avoid getting it here or your expectations will have you bummed out. I'm fairly certain their cold brew was simply iced coffee with a healthy amount of flavored creamer. At least when. I tried their cinnamon roll cold brew.As for the avocado comment, we came with out little 1 y/os and we try and feed them more basic whole foods including avocado. I was thinking their side of avocado would have been sliced wedges but instead was a little prepacked cup of mashed avocado. Not a huge deal, the kids are it right up but if you were expecting to add avocado to your dishes then be aware in case you were hoping for it in a not mashed form."
