"They have items that I can't find in other shops, including Afghan saffron and special spices. Their deli is delicious and a must try. The chicken kebab over rice was so juicy and flavorful, plus they loaded it with sides and all the toppings you want... very generous portions. My toddler loved all their food, and she's a picky eater. Vegetarians will love the falafel. The baba ganoush is great, especially if you ask them to do the special spices on them. The service was very good, and the lady was sweet and kind, very hospitable and patient. I have very high standards for baklava, and they're only the 2nd place I've found in Tampa that has real authentic properly prepared baklava :"

"Amazing customer service!!!! The young women at the counter allow you to taste a sample to make sure you get exactly what you want. The facility is so clean and super fun for young kids. As a Jersey girl, I am always hesitant to try water ice but this is the closest water ice and gelati I have had since moving to the Tampa area over 12 years ago. Brings me back to the Jersey shore.... I will be going back. Bravo to the owner your employees are wonderful."

Very patient since we’re not the most familiar with Indian cuisine and he made great recommendations. "Haven’t been to this location in quite a while – remodeled a little, still got the Carrabba’s ‘atmosphere’ – comfortable seating – We did not have a long wait. But it seems like everywhere they “walk you” to the farthest tables away – I know most restaurants try to spread the business about between waitpersons and maybe fill up certain sections at a time for their convenience – it’s difficult to walk so far and they were nice when we asked to be a little closer. The service was up to normal level’s we’ve come to expect with this chain – attentive, refills, time it took for serving was very good. We’ll be back again when in the Brandon area."

"Wow! Living in the Midwest I don 't get seafood this fresh and Shells doesn 't disappoint! Our server Bailey, is friendly and personable. She showed true interest in us and helped us navigate the menu to pick the best dishes for us. I asked what she would order and she recommended: Fresh Mahi Mahi Felix topped with jumbo lump crabmeat and roasted red peppers in a lobster cream sauce. Served with seasoned rice over vegetable medley. (Pictured) I was not disappointed, I am still so full an hour after eating while writing this. Thank you Bailey, perfect choice! I think this should be called The Bailey Special My wife got the Baby Lobster Pasta, Succulent baby lobster tails tossed with linguine in lobster cream sauce. She was blown away and the sauce could be a soup! Our son ubered us so we could enjoy the bar, we started off with a Mojito (wife) (which the bartender didn 't know how to make but got it pretty close) I got the house margarita with a sugar rim, very good. We then switched gears to an Island Breeze (AMAZING! Light and refreshing like the name suggests and my drink the Rum Punch was true to its name too as it felt like I got punched in the face rum, not a bad thing! Atmosphere is light and approximately themed, everything looked and smelled clean. We don 't live here, but if we return we will be back! "Sushi Ninja is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the Brandon area. It's located in the Bloomingdale Square shopping center, and it's one of the few restaurants that has stayed in this plaza for many years. They moved to a larger space withinthe plaza and redesigned the interior a couple of years ago, which totally elevated the whole dining experience. It's so warmand inviting with lots of tropical décor. They have table, booth, and bar seating. They also have cocktails on the menu and notjust your standard wine, beer, and saké. I know, we have many great sushi restaurants in the Brandon/Riverview/Valrico area.They're all special in their own way. But this place is unique in that they also have boba milk teas and smoothies, as well as abuild your own poke bowl menu. There's a huge variety of sushi rolls. Most of them are specialty rolls. There are a lot withcream cheese (if that's your thing). One of my favorite rolls is the Ninja Lobster Roll. It was pretty awesome! The baked cheesylobster topping really takes it to the next level. The only negative to some people would be that the rolls are small, and mayberolled more tightly than other sushi rolls I've had in the past. It's not a bad thing in my opinion. I hate when they roll themtoo big. I have many other favorite rolls. The New York Yankee, Rising Sun, and Dancing Eel rolls are some of my favorites. I've also had the eel, scallop special, and salmon nigiri which are always great. Oh, and I almost forgot about the appetizer.The TNT Mussels are so yummy. It has a nice mixture of Japanese mayo, wasabi, and masago. Very tasty! Everything tastesgreat. I need to elaborate a little on the build your own poke and/or bibimbap bowl. The bowls are fresh and fantastic! I getthe bowls with a salad base when I feel like eating healthy. They have so many great toppings. I never can pass up their housepoke sauce. "I came here Saturday night at 8:10. No reservation, no waiting, very clean restaurant. Our server, Denae, was amazing. She got me! The manager, Mike, was very friendly and came to our table and asked us how things were. Obviously they were great! We had an appetizer of Fried Pickles Slices and our drinks on our table within 10 minutes down. Then we had our food about 15 minutes later. I ordered 2 Brandy Milk Punches, very nice, 1 bottle of Heineken beer, and a fish seafood basket with frits. Needless to say, it hit the spot. My friend had a strawberry lemonade with Craw-JambGumb. I cannot comment personally on her order, but she said she enjoyed it and would eat it again! Of course I will come back to this restaurant and would recommend to everyone else to try this place too! NOTE: There was a moderate number of parking spaces on the front and side of the building, but tons of parking on the back. The front door is on the east side of the building and there is wheelchair accessible. The interior noice Level was moderate with approx. 15-20% capacity at the time of our visit."

"Ploy has fresh food! The flavors are out of this world. The portions are generous. The atmosphere is so peaceful and elegant. Prices are spot on! Sushi is choice and there are many options to choose from if you love rolls you are missing out! The rice is served in a heart shape for extra added attraction and a nice touch. Dessert is a must. Love the Thai iced tea. The meat they use is grade A. Come visit you will want to come back. Great, fast and friend service as well."

"I really enjoyed Wooden Spoon. Staff is very friendly, food and prices were decent. Creative menu. The breakfast food was not super tasty the first time I went but I went back a second time and had the crab cake Benedict!!!!!. It was delicious!!!!!!A must try! They have mimosas but FYI they are not bottomless on the weekends. Only M-F.. I have attached a few pictures of my meal. I believe with 3 mimosas and a boat load of food, my visit came to $30. (SN: If I could change one thing it would be the front door. Weird I know but when someone comes in the door it slams. It is sooo annoying!"

"Management needs to fix up the restaurant. There is areas of the restaurant that needs to be touched up on staining on wooden walls and baseboards. They're very prominent when you walk in. There's no tipping for the busters who clean up the tables. The stuffed mushrooms should be called the Crab stuffing with mushrooms. They use ready made baking dishes that hold tiny mushrooms and then put crab stuffing all over the top!"

"I've been coming to this restaurant since I was born, and it's hands down the best place I've ever been. I absolutely love the waitstaff and the cooks. The restaurant is always clean, and the atmosphere is peaceful with incredible decorations. The menu features the most beautiful platters, and I highly recommend the wonton soup and spring rolls. You must also try the duck or chicken pineapple curry—it's a solid 11/10! I've been coming here so regularly since I was little that the staff knows my usual order. I noticed a review mentioning that someone felt they were seated in the corner because of their race. As a person of color myself, I can confidently say that I can sit anywhere, even when the restaurant is empty. I have great conversations with the staff, and there is absolutely zero racism in this establishment. It's truly a 10/10 experience!"

"I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Hot n Crazy Crab Cajun Seafood Bar on Bloomingdale, and I must say, the experience was fantastic! The highlight of my visit was the exceptional service provided by my server, Andrea. Even when I mistakenly described how I wanted my wings prepared, Andrea went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. She was patient, kind, and took the time to carefully explain how their sauces and flavors work, which helped me make the perfect choice. Her professionalism and warm demeanor truly made my lunch so much more enjoyable. The food was a bit to greasy for my belly, but delicious, however, it was Andrea’s top-notch service that made this visit memorable. If you’re looking for a spot with great food and even better service, I highly recommend Hot n Crazy Crab! I’ll definitely be back."

"I found this hidden gem while cruising the Internet for an Italian restaurant kind of close to home. A little bit off the beaten path in a very small strip mall. When we pulled up it wasn't much to look at but upon entering the hostess and the environment were warm and inviting. From our server Michael all the way up to Frank the manager Vito the owner, the entire staff were attentive to everyone in the restaurant. All of the food Is shopped for and made daily. I had the carbonara and my husband had the veal parmesan and it was absolutely delicious. I generally do not have dessert but I ordered the tiramisu and it was awesome. We will definitely be going back and recommending this little piece of Italy to our friends and family."

"If you have never dined at First Watch in person, I don't recommend just ordering from DoorDash or Uber Eats. It's an experience, and they are very helpful in explaining the menu and ingredients and how fresh everything is. I have been a fan of this place for years and have visited multiple locations. My go-to dish is the Parma hash, which is delicious with tomatoes adding so much flavor. Their signature bread and jam is amazing, and the waffles are crispy yet fluffy. The pancakes are also large and satisfying, and the million dollar bacon and seasonal drinks are fantastic. I would be disappointed if they ever changed. One downside is that you may not get to fully enjoy the experience if you live far from a location, as the full menu may not be available. Additionally, customization options on DoorDash are limited."

"I went in to try their chicken for the first time and was greeted by Ebony who took our order. Ebony was super friendly and patient. She told me all about the app and was so kind to wait and walk me through how to check in. We also got some tenders to go and I was about to go ask for them after we ate, but she walked outside where we were sitting and brought them! I was amazed that she kept up with that and brought them to us! The food was actually pretty good and we will definitely come back! Keep up the great customer service Ebony!"

"I've lived in this area for 23 years, but due to family preferences, I've never had the chance to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine until now. I finally decided to explore and give it a try! For my first visit to Martin's, I chose the classic butter chicken with naan. The food took about 20 minutes to prepare, and they serve generous portions—enough to feed two or three people. I could easily stretch the butter chicken into three or four more meals; I’d just need to cook some extra rice at home. The only downside is that there’s no seating inside, and the interior could use a bit of a refresh to make it more inviting. However, the exterior signage is nice, and the food was absolutely delicious."

"When I imagined a quesadilla, I was thinking of something nice and small that my mom would enjoy. But wow, this was huge! You could easily feed 2 adults or 3 kids without any trouble. The flavor was fantastic, and it came with sides as well. I ordered one of the "Platos Fuertes"—I can't remember the exact name, but it looked like beef skirt steak. It looked lovely and appealing, but when I unwrapped it, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the portion. I was really satisfied with the taste and the hints of heat. This will definitely be my second favorite Mexican restaurant to visit when I'm in the area. Highly recommended!"

"Disappointed in our entrees. I ordered my steak well done and my husband ordered his Filet Mignon medium. Unfortunately my steak came out Medium Rare and his Filet came out Well Done. Luckily we just changed between the 2 of us and were able to enjoy our meals. 1st time this has ever happened. A very large party put the grill/kitchen behind and a little disoriented it seems. But since it is one of our favorite restaurants, we will try again sometime soon."
