"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch menu (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. The environment is wonderful - brick walls and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommended!!"

"I recently enjoyed some of the best street-style tacos I've had in a long time. I tried the chicken and steak tacos on flour tortillas, as well as the spicy carnitas on corn tortillas, and all the meats were simply incredible. Even the white rice was delicious. Not only was the food to die for, but the staff were incredibly sweet and polite. The entire restaurant was clean and had a wonderful aroma. My mother comes here frequently and assures me that the quality is consistently fresh."

"I am not a big Italian fan, but my friends like the cuisine, so I went here. The food is not to my liking, but that's because I am not a fan of this cuisine. However, I can tell that I ate Italian food at my friends place that cooks good Italian food and that tasted much better than this place, so, I am only giving this place a 3 star. I am guessing that this is more like Americanized Italian, where all the tastes are dulled down. I like food that challenges my taste buds. The staff was friendly, but note that the ambiance is kind of dark themed with low lighting. The soup was excellent and I would strongly recommend it. Vegetarian options: There are decent vegetarian options. They can also customize most dishes to make them vegetarian."

"This was our wedding anniversary and we wanted to do something special. Christopher's was just the ticket. The service was excellent. My wife and I felt like we had known our server for years and whatever we requested was addressed immediately. His recommendations were great. The food was superbly prepared and were wonderful in every respect. When we ordered the special cheese cake for desert, we were pleasantly surprised as the plate was decorated with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. It was a great time! We highly recommend Christopher's for that special event, or, just a great evening"

"Went there between lunch and dinner time. There wasn't many people there when I first got there but many more came in while I was there. The waitress asked if I needed anything right when I sat down and if I knew what I wanted and I told her I needed a few minutes. I will say it took her a little bit of time to come back and take my order but she wasn't just standing around. She was talking to her other customers. I think this is a place mostly visited by locals cuz everyone that came in knew all the wait staff and the wait staff even knew a couple of their orders. Offhand has that nice diner feel menu is pretty good and robust. Had the gyro with fries and it was good. Nothing to write home about and say this is a great Euro. You must go there but it was a a pretty nice Euro. It was stealing the meat was good. They even gave you some of the crispy outside meat which is nice. If you've ever had yours, you'll know what I mean. Overall good place. So stop in and get something if you're hungry and if you're a local good place to go where they know your name kind of like. Cheers!"

"The website is deliberately misleading, and it completely ruined my trip to Fredericksburg. I purchased 8 tickets for the harvest festival, only to discover that they were for the Bryan, TX location—three hours away—while all my hotel and other bookings were in Fredericksburg. The website allows you to click on the Hill Country location, but all subsequent prompts for purchasing are entirely lacking in specified location details, making it seem like you're selecting the Hill Country event you initially clicked on. Every step of the process feels like a deliberate attempt to mislead you, with a prominent listing of various harvest types alongside the phrase “Hill Country Harvest Festival.” The fact that almost all harvest events are in Bryan, Texas, except for the one on September 1-2, is buried in the fine print. I have little hope for a refund and expect that management won't take any corrective action. However, I will update if they decide to do the right thing and issue a refund instead of keeping nearly $400 of my money, especially since there was plenty of notice and time to authorize a refund with the event still a month away. The emphasis on "no refunds" for the tickets now makes sense. I genuinely feel scammed and taken advantage of by this greedy company."

Our mains were bit of a wait, but before we could complain, our server apologized and they appeared shortly after. Amazing food and portions were well suited. Our steaks were perfectly done! Due to the small delay in our mains, manager sent over a sinful skor Sundae that although we were much too full for, we devoured. Excellent service and kudos to management for staying on top of service."

"I sent my wife on Saturday to pick up me a three meat bar b que plate with chili beans and collord greens as the two sides after viewing the price and food on the website and the price for the plate was $15.99/ and I also spoke with an employee before my wife got there and clearly said that they have collord greens but when my wife got there to pick the food up she called me while she was there and I had only given her $20.00 dollars since the 3 meat plate only shows $15.99 on the website so while she was on the phone with me I hear the employee saying that the collord greens were mixed with cabbage and to top it all off she stated that the 3 meat plate was $27.00 dollars and I was very disappointed and tried to get my wife to leave the food there and get my money back but the employee insisted that she would take the $20.00 dollars for the food and got home with the food and it was the side was all cabbage and no collord greens which I was lied to and the Chilli beens tasted like ranch style beans and the ribs and brisket tasted like they were baked in the oven with no flavor their bar b que plates are way over priced and you guys really need to update your food prices on your website and this makes me very disappointed and because of this I will not be ordering bar b que from this establishment anymore in the future and for this cause Nikki and lamar deserves a 1 star rating"

"So this was my first Texas Bbq and it did not disappoint! I walked in feeling out of place but was immediately greeted by a very warm and friendly waitress who was extremely diligent to get me settled in and hydrated (it 's been hot like hot never knew y 'all! . I ordered the fattier brisket and the chicken quarter. The brisket was so tender it almost crumbled when you touched it... and did so when trying to pick it up with a fork! It was delicious without the sauce, but the sauce... took things to another orbit. The chicken had that strange taste that good bbq has i can 't put my finger on but it was good too, and with the sauce... it was a whole other world! I didn 't think sauce would make much difference bc i genuinely like the natural flavors, but this was so good i couldn 't stop flooding my plate with it! The fries were also piping hot, crispy and delicious! The waitress was so kind to everyone... other customers, other coworkers, me... What a plus on top of delicious food! Thank you!"

"We were in the area and wanted to celebrate our anniversary so I made a reservation. We arrived and they sat us promptly but our server never came to our table until we asked for one. Yet, other parties that arrived after we did were attended to immediately. We missed happy hour and when I asked if we would get a discount being that it wasn?t our fault that no one took our order, the server said she would ask. We did get the discount but we learned about it when we saw the check. The server was very dismissive and not engaging at all. Not sure if this is the norm but we went there because we had seen really good reviews. Not the anniversary dinner we were expecting. The food was good. We ordered the chicken fried steak and blackened shrimp pasta and esquites."

When we asked to speak with a manager, he told us to ask for him next time, even though we were already in conversation with him. I'm not sure how else the situation could have been handled. I didn't receive what I ordered, and the waitress, who is typically not very friendly, was quite rude and almost hostile. Although the food I received was fine, it was not what I wanted or ordered. It will be a long time before I'm willing to eat here again if they don't show any concern for fixing mistakes. If you make an error, you should rectify it. In the end, I still didn't get what I ordered."

"I've always loved the kettle here. Used to be my go to after the bars in my 20s and the last time I went it stood out. One waiter for the whole restaurant and he was working the host station. Still managed to take care of everyone, even if a little slower than usual because it was one person, that's totally fine. I ordered a steak because you can't beat a $16 steak tbh. It was juicy, extremely flavored, dripping in juices and seasoning. I took my first bite and had a omg this is good good moment. Coffee, fresh. Service, great. Good, pretty dang good bang for your buck. Showed me why it was always a past favorite again."

"I have always seen this fat burger and passed it up. Finally stopped in and saw what I was missing. The fried mushrooms were fantastic, wasn 't fried in weeks old grease as many other places, cough cough recent outback review. The ranch was great to pair them with. The Swiss mushroom burger was juicy it had the flavor and the moisture needed from a patty. Not dried out over cooked, and not a cardboard next customer quickly please like McDonald 's. Sad I 've passed by this place so many times. I will be stopping more frequently and trying other items."
