"If you're in search of an extraordinary dining experience to celebrate a special occasion, look no further than Cafe Margaux. Recently, I had the pleasure of organizing a birthday dinner for our large family, and from the moment we stepped through the door, we were met with warmth, hospitality, and food that surpassed all expectations. Let's start with the service it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we made our reservation, the staff at Cafe Margaux went above and beyond to accommodate our group. Every detail was meticulously taken care of, ensuring that each party member felt welcomed and attended to. The seamless coordination and attentiveness of the staff truly set the stage for an unforgettable evening. Now, onto the main event the food. Oh, where do I begin? From the appetizers to our main course, each dish was a masterpiece in its own right. The menu offers a delightful array of options, catering to every dietary preference. Whether seafood, steak, or vegetarian, Cafe Margaux has something to satisfy every craving. But what truly set this dining experience apart was the special attention lavished upon the birthday girl. From personalized menu recommendations to serving up her favorite cake adorned with candles, Cafe Margaux pulled out all the stops to ensure that her special day was celebrated in style. The genuine care and thoughtfulness exhibited by the staff made her feel like the belle of the ball; for that, we are immensely grateful. To conclude, Cafe Margaux is more than just a restaurant here you can expect excellent food and unparalleled hospitality. For this celebration, we found that Cafe Margaux is the place to be."

"I gave it two stars because the service was good and the cook did a good job in spite of the low quality ingredients he was given to work with. Overall, definitely not going back there again unless they increase the quality of their ingredients. The issue I have with this place is with the very low quality of the ingredients in the Ultimate Omlet I ordered. The first couple bites, I literally had to spit out and check what the heck I just put in my mouth. Turned out my visceral reaction was due to the spinach, mushrooms, and bacon, all of which are ingredients that I normally love. I had multiple bites where I had to stop to pull out what I thought was hair from my mouth, turned out the spinach had very tough, long fibers in the stems. Gross. I normally like canned mushrooms, I sometimes even eat them on a salad, but these canned mushrooms tasted terrible. I had to pull them all out, but the taste from them still bled over to the other ingredients. But the worst ingredient in the omelet was the bacon, if you can call it that. It had no bacon flavor at all and the texture was somewhere between jerky and cardboard. It was clearly not the same bacon you get when you order their strips of fried bacon. I 'll also mention, the home fries were not fried at all, they were just boiled potatoes that were diced, which I like boiled potatoes , so not a big deal, but I was really looking forward to some home fried potatoes, which is not what they gave me."

"My husband suggested this restaurant as he had had a good breakfast here recently. He described it as “good homemade food” (but to stay safe he added “but not as good as yours!”, good save! I like a good unfussy breakfast, and was looking forward to some “homemade” tasting food. We were directed to a booth quickly and greeted by our server for our drink order. Drinks arrived quickly and I was deciding if I wanted to spend carbs on a biscuit. I asked the server if they were homemade. She said “we bake them here”. I clarified my question to “do you MAKE them here” to which she replied, “no, they come in frozen”. Strike one. You CANNOT be a “Country cooking “ restaurant with frozen biscuits. I decided to see how a frozen biscuit was, never having had one. I ordered the Scrambler as did my husband, with a biscuit for me and a pancake for him. There must have been 47 potatoes in each dish, a MOUND of potatoes with 2 scrambled eggs on top. No gravy on mine (ordered that way a few sparse onions and peppers, and cheese. Potatoes were deep fried which made them nice and crispy. I asked to taste my husband’s gravy as I wanted to see how deliciously they made sausage gravy. I am 99% sure that the gravy was from one of those big 10lb cans you get at a wholesale place. The gravy was blech! It was almost grainy- and mostly flavorless. I should add here that the biscuit was also flavorless- as well as tough as a shoe. You cannot seriously call yourself “Country Cooking” if you cannot get biscuits and gravy right- or homemade. Service was good, atmosphere was busy- but I likely will not be back."

"First timer at a KKC [Cocoa FL] I didn't think much of the name until lately I saw some local Yelpers rave about the chicken at Krispy Krunchy. Then I remembered dining at a KKC for the first time last year in FL. We happened to stumble upon this fast food counter-service restaurant while looking for a place to grab some quick late lunch. We were hangry! LoL! I remember how much I enjoyed my 3-pc fried chicken which included a honey butter biscuit with the meal. Hubby got the 6-pc Cajun Tenders and we each got a side of mashed potatoes gravy. Not super busy on a Saturday afternoon. We were the only ones who dined in at the time. There were locals who ordered takeout. The employee who took our order was nice and friendly (unlike some employees in our Popeye's store here in Roseville). It took a while to get our food, it's because they were cooking it fresh. When our order was ready she brought our food to our table. Oh my gosh, the best fried chicken I have ever had. Insanely good chicken! Inexpensive too! The chicken was fried just right to a nice crunch but not overcooked. There were a variety of sauces to have with the chicken (if you like) however, imo the chicken was just great and perfect served as it was without any of the sauce on it. The biscuit was delicious. It had a light coating of butter and honey on it! Yum. Very tiny place but the dining room was kept clean. That's all. Now I'm drooling... Review #1755"
