"The service was great, the food was great as always. We usually try to eat breakfast before church on Sundays, today we choose cracker barrel. Our server's name was Abby she was very professional, polite, and kept my coffee cup filled without me having to ask. I will highly recommend this cracker barrel to my church family. "However, when we tried to recreate that delightful experience, we were let down. It seemed like there was a different cook, because the gyro was literally half the size of the first one. It was noticeably smaller. To clarify, these are not inexpensive items; they run around eight dollars each, if I recall correctly. The first time felt like a good value, but the second one was lacking. There was much less meat, fewer ingredients, and the smaller size has made me hesitant to order another anytime soon. It's disappointing when consistency is lacking. If the second gyro had matched the quality of the first, I would have happily given this place five stars. For now, though, I'm giving it a generous three."

"This restaurant is just okay, but I find myself visiting more often than I probably should. One of the main reasons is that their online prices are really hard to beat. The quality of the food can be hit or miss. When the person I assume is the owner is working, the food tends to be decent for fast food pizza. However, when it's a different team of staff, the quality is unpredictable—it feels like a 50/50 chance. I'm not trying to criticize the place too harshly; it’s just the reality of many establishments these days."

"I hate writing negative reviews but unfortunately my most recent experience here calls for one. I’ve gone to Barber and Brew a few times now—I make a trip up from the city every couple months to get a haircut and it’s been great until the one I just received. I asked for my usual, a blunt, unlayered bob that’s longer in the front and shorter in the back. What I got was a bob that was longer in the back, layered, and shorter on the left side of my head. I would’ve asked for it to be fixed had I noticed right away, but I only saw these issues once I got home to Brooklyn and got a closer look. Most salons have a one week period where you can return for a touch-up so I decided to try to get in contact with B&B, except they had no phone number to be found anywhere. I attempted to reach them on the platforms they DO have, Instagram and email, but did not receive any response. Poor customer service and communication, and a shame for the hairdresser who can’t be reached by their client. Now I have to spend more money to get my hair fixed elsewhere."

"We had our wedding catered at the Barn at Stoney Hills in Cushing, MN by Paul the Blue Heron staff this past weekend and I couldn't have better things to say about the food and service. The whole experience of working and with Paul from start to finish was outstanding and I would highly recommend them to cater your wedding! The dinner and appetizer menu features many different and unique options and Paul worked with us to do small customizations to fit perfectly together. Noah and I were able to do a tasting last year during the planning process which was really helpful. We also had an addition of 9 family members who hadn't RSVPd (yikes! , and Paul was kind enough to add 9 additional meals week of. He checked in often in the weeks leading up to the wedding and I never had one ounce of worry leading into the evening which I was very thankful for. The whole team was so professional smiling faces throughout the whole evening, prompt clean up, and our family had nothing but wonderful reviews of the food. So thankful to the Great Blue Heron and 100% give a 5/5 start review!"

"BEST SPOT IN TOWN!! Love this place. Located in downtown Cold Lake, this location is one of the best around. Whenever we go in there we are always welcomed by a friendly staff. The restaurant itself is always very clean and well maintained. With plenty of seating there are many options whether you would like something quiet, or something in the open. The menu is extensive and has something for anyone. The bar has a lot of options, including awesome OJs exclusive beers (worth a round or two). Some notable menu items are the beef dip, butter chicken, wraps, poutines, burgers and always the awesome sides. The daily specials are always worth it. Take out is available. Overall you can’t go wrong here. Highly recommend making this the go to spot in Cold Lake. This location also has a pool table and multiple TVs for entertainment."

"We stopped in for a quick bite one evening on our way home from running errands based on a friend's recommendation. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the warmth and care of the staff, and everything we tried was delicious. We are not easily pleased with restaurant food, so leaving a review is a big deal for me. I even recommended that my daughter consider Grano Focacceria for an upcoming event she is having. She will be eating there later this week for the first time--I doubt it will be her last! We have been back 3 times in just 3 weeks...and we don't usually eat out that often. There is something really down home, yet with a foodie quality, about the food. I highly recommend you enjoy a nice meal here!"

"Had some Street tacos (walleye) that were pretty tasty. I think they need to work on the slaw and sauce a bit though. Chicken strip basket is large and the fries are delicious. Price for quantity is great. Tap beers were good. The only thing that was a little ish was that salad bar. The lettuce was real sad and nothing was that chilled. Will return for sure. It was a good experience."

"Do not come here. They served a whole white family ahead of us. We got to the window at 8:53, they stated that they close at 9pm. Online it says 9:30pm. Do not give this place business, of course unless that is your only option in a town of 2000 people. I think there is another ice cream shop super close. Anyone from West Point trying to support a local business, DO NOT COME. These people are not worthy of your hard earned moneys"
