"We recently dined at a charming little gem in Nola that specializes in Southern cuisine. The owner is fantastic - friendly, genuine, and very knowledgeable. She even remembered us when we visited again 4 months later. As soon as you step inside, you feel like you've been transported back to New Orleans, with the colorful art, Mardi Gras beads, and delicious aromas filling the air. Our favorite dishes on the menu were the crab au gratin and shrimp and grits - absolutely delicious! My partner swears by the lamb as the best option. Personally, I think the crab au gratin is heavenly and wish it was offered as a main course. The salad dressing was exceptional, probably the best I've ever had. The shrimp and grits were bursting with flavor, and I also enjoyed the blackened catfish and crawfish. It would be a nice touch to add a roux-based gumbo to the menu, as tomato-based gumbo is not traditionally found in New Orleans. Overall, the atmosphere, service, and food were all top-notch. We've already introduced two separate groups to this place and can't wait to bring more friends along in the future."
