"Went on a Saturday afternoon, and it was empty. The interior has a lot of cultural decorations. They also have a mini shop selling merch and some ingredients for their dishes. Our server was friendly, and the food was brought out in waves, in a reasonable amount of time. Pickled Tea Salad $12.85): Had to get this because it is one of their signature dishes. It was a bit too salty, but I enjoyed it overall, especially the crunchiness of the nuts. However, the price is expensive relative to the preparation effort also considering that you can buy the ingredients from their in store shop for cheaper). Chicken Plata $9.75): The flatbread was very good. It was kind of like a thinner scallion pancake. The curry was also pretty good. Coconut Chicken Noodle Soup $14.25): The broth was creamy with a deep coconut flavor. The noodles were soft and had a starchy aftertaste. The chicken was overly salted and not plentiful, and the egg was just there. Golden Chicken Noodles $14.25): This was basically a brothless version of the Coconut Chicken Noodle Soup. Rainbow Chicken Noodles $14.25): This was a unanimous favorite of the noodle dishes. The sauce was slightly sweet with a subtle kick. My friend also paid an extra $2 for a chicken fritter. I did not try it, but she said it was crispy and good. Rangoon Iced Tea $4.99): I did not try this either, but my friend liked it—said it tasted like Hong Kong milk tea. They sell the powder for this in their in store shop as well.Overall, the food was pretty good but didn't quite live up to my expectations after all of the hype that I had heard. I also feel like the prices could be cheaper. However, Yoma is still worth checking out if you're in the area!"

"Great laid-back coffee shop experience in South Boston.Located in a somewhat industrial area of South Boston, Cannonball Cafe offers a refreshing escape with its vibrant and colorful decors and a relaxing patio area. Over the past few weeks, I've found myself drawn to this spot, especially on weekend mornings, to bask in its calm and inviting atmosphere. With ample street parking nearby, it was also a great hassle-free destination for driving in.Compared to other coffee shops in the city, the menu here is relatively more affordable. While it might be concise, it includes a good selection of catered pastries. One of my favorites was the Cinnamon bun with Cream cheese. From their other breakfast offerings, I tried the Cannonball Special sandwich, which featured crispy prosciutto, avocado, secret sauce, and Gruyere cheese. The use of prosciutto instead of bacon lends a healthier twist, though its robust flavor tends to dominate the sandwich. Nonetheless, it was a satisfying choice for a hearty breakfast. As for the drinks, the Chai Latte was excellent. On the other hand, the Matcha latte was a bit of a letdown, being rather bitter as it came without sugar by default.Overall, Cannonball Cafe is a great spot for a causal coffee break or breakfast. While its location may not be the most walkable, its unique charm and inviting atmosphere more than compensate for the extra effort to get there. If you’re in the area looking for a refreshing pause, I would recommend giving them a try."

"It's pretty average for me. It's not something I would return for though, but I like Thai food and spicy chicken. I thought the combo might work. You should try it once for yourself though. PROS: Good spice level. If you're into spicy chicken thighs, this might be your place. CONS: So many places do sticky rice, and I've never seen a $5 price tag on a tiny baggy of it. Swing by a Thai place in your way home and get a solid helping for $2 to go with your chicken from here. Imagine getting 3 orders for $15 versus $6. They only do chicken thighs, which is a bit disappointing. I know they're fatty and give more flavor, but l prefer the breast myself. More bang for your buck with a tender white meat breast. This is a preference for me with fried chicken, but the thigh has it's place in grilling. The extra fat is great on the grill, but less so when deep frying chicken. The papaya salad on the sandwich doesn't work for me. Normally a spicy chicken sandwich incorporates coleslaw or something to ease the spice. Papaya salad is sort of bitter or sour normally. So it's not really balancing the flavors. It's also far from the best Som Tum I've ever had. The chicken is coated in a spicy jam. Which means you're not getting an even coating. It's sort of chunky in some bites and non existent in others. It's spread on top. OVERALL: I'll stick to my hot chicken tender spots and my Thai spots, but not mix them. It seems this is a combination that's not meant to be for me. Definitely give it a go. This might be your place, it just wasn't for me. I wished a tried the Toro place instead, where it is located. That food looks good"

"Dined at Grill23 to celebrate my wife 's birthday but encountered the most unsatisfied fine dining experience. Lets start with food...we ordered fois gras as our appetizer. The first one is cooked beautifully with bread on the bottom, topped a with nice chubby piece of foie gras with some green garnish. However there was a hair in the plate so we asked to have a replacement. 15mins later the manager served us with a basically raw duck liver to our table with absolutely 0 garnish and it is absolutely not attractive. It tasted like a piece of pure fat. It is inedible so we reported to the waiter again and ended up with returning it. Manager offered us a free fried calamari as compensation. Then the steak... there is discussion on reddit calling grill 23 the goat steakhouse...i sincerely wish they are but they are not, not even close to a acceptable level. I ordered the signature 100 day dry aged ribeye at medium rare. The meat is so moist with no crust at all on the surface. it feels like it is not grilled but boiled in the water. Plus, it is not hot not even warm. The plate is cold and the meat is room temperature. It is basically between raw and rare, which is a couple degrees away from being edible. Also, the meat is either not dry aged or it only dry aged for a couple days. 1000%not 100 day dry aged as it is absolutely not tender even with such an undercooking condition. Taste-wise, salty very salty. i drunk 2 cups of water while eating. I rarely left food but i have to take almost the whole steak home since it is too bad and i cant eat. My wife 's salmon was ok. no obvious flaws For the atmosphere, this restaurant is insanely loud. We sit face to face and still hard to hear each other under normal volume. I made reservation a week ahead and notified the restaurant that this is for the birthday celebration and expected a good seat with nice view. But we ended up sitting in the middle of the crowd which was hands-down the loudest place in the room. Anyway, we"
