I've been here a handful of times now visiting from LA and can say Fontana's quality and presentation easily defeats the spots in Little Tokyo and even the prized Sugarfish. When the salmon just melts in your mouth, you know you've come to the right establishment. Staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient which adds to the fantastic experience that much more. The owner and chefs definitely know what they are doing here and are down to drink up with the patrons. Pro tips The chicken katsu here is superb. Perfect crisp to tender bites. Josh was very friendly, sure, but knowledgeable and gave us insight into the menu. It feels like we had direct access to a culinary geniuses ideas. I had the special, a Lamb Ragu with black garlic, incredible. I'm not gifted enough to describe the subtle flavors in that dish. We finished it off with a Honeycake...a multilayered, light (yet somehow not) creamy honey cinnamon delicacy. I feel like we discovered a special place...somewhere we will talk about for a long time. I wish we lived close by to come back and try other things!"

"This is my families go to pizza place! The pizza is SO good. We love the Red Hot Mama and the Lake Tahoe pizza the best! The employees are personable, professional, and keep a nice speedy pace to the restaurant during the busy hours. "Small, strip mall setting with 9 tables inside and a couple more outside, the decorations pay homage to Miami, as well as Cuba, with street signs such as Hialeah, Ocean and SW 8th St, a clipping of snow in Miami back in 1977, and other Miami knickknacks, the place has a bright, almost tropical look to it. The slogan is A Little 305 in the 704. With a collection of mostly Cuban dishes, as well as Nicaraguan, they did just that. My wife and I tried several things off the menu. The mariquitas green plantain chips were an ok appetizer but the garlic cilantro dipping sauce had a nice flavor and bite to it. Entrees come served with traditional black beans and rice, all wonderful. Best dish was my wife 's, Masitas de Puercos Fritas , which is chunks of fried pork, not unlike carnitas. The crispiness of the pork and the marinade, moist pork underneath the crispy layer, and the grilled onion was a marvelous combination. I went with the Palomilla steak, a thin sirloin, almost skirt steak like, that had good flavor with the onions. Oh, and get the buttered Cuban bread, really excellent for soaking up the last bit of liquid from the black beans. Closed out the meal with the Cortadito, a Cuban coffee with steamed milk. Think it would 've been nice with a dessert, but I was already stuffed. Lovely, family owned business with the owner going around to make sure everything was to everyone 's liking. It sure was to us."

"I had an excellent experience at Tessa Delicatessen the other night. The place is charming—bright, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff were fantastic; I would honestly give them a five-star rating just based on how friendly the guy at the counter was. I ordered the Brussels, a muffuletta sandwich, and got a Cuban to go for my husband. The Brussels were delicious—they weren't fried, which is a nice twist (not that there's anything wrong with fried Brussels!), but they were tossed in a light dressing and topped with tasty cheese. The muffuletta, which was recommended to me, was very flavorful. I particularly loved the crusty bread and the olive spread. I didn't try the Cuban, but my husband said it was excellent and devoured it quickly. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

"Love this place! Absolutely zero complaints. Wife surprised me with a stay in Rino for Father’s Day with Colorado Sake being the main reason for the stay. I’m a sake enthusiast at home. Everything we tried was amazing. We spent a couple of hours and did a couple of flights along with some Kanzake(warm sake) and tried 5-6 different izikaya dishes and they were all amazing. We stumbled upon a comedy show that we didn’t even know was happening which was absolutely hilarious. I loved the place so much, I ended up going back in the morning for round 2 and tried the remaining flavors I missed the night before.Met Taylor and she was incredibly attentive and helped us get through the rest of the flavors so we could pick the 6 bottles I wanted to take home as well as recommending some amazing food options. They had ran out of take home bottles and she did everything in her power to figure out a way for me to be able to bring home the bottles we wanted. Thankfully the owner came in with more bottles right before we left. All in all, one of the best Father’s Day trips I’ve had, such good food and the best drinks.I can’t wait to go down there again. Unfortunately I have a feeling I am going to have a hard time drinking the traditional sake I’m used to because this slightly different version is so damn good!Again shoutout to Taylor and the crew for taking the greatest care of us.This place rocks!!!"

"In a relatively unassuming location north of City Park lies a cute conglomerate of businesses, one of which being Rivers Roads. On nice days, it 's exceptionally setup for indoor/outdoor space. But even on cold days, it 's nice to cozy up with a cup of coffee and soak in the sun flooding the space through the south-facing glass garage doors. The coffee is great! I got my usual cortado, which was served in a small paper cup and featured no latte art , which was unfortunate. But that 's where the disappointment ended, as the flavors were excellent and it was well-balanced between milk and espresso. The space itself is quite spacious even inside, with plenty of plants and unique lighting fixtures. There 's ample cafe-style seating. It 's a great place to stay and work awhile or meet friends for conversations. Music isn 't overpowering, and WiFi is half decent. Not exceptional speeds but 25 up/down is adequate for many basic things. Plenty for me to finish the series finale of See in 4K while sipping my cortado!The staff are always pleasant and I would say more attentive than average, making you feel welcomed immediately. It 's not exactly in my neighborhood, but it 's still a regular spot for me. Seasonal drinks are good and most syrups are made in-house. Food is great. Outdoor patio is spacious and dog-friendly. There 's simply not many downsides, if any. Aside from there not being an actual river."

"They had our reservations for people, not We were seated in the back patio and you could smell the sewer from our table, which did not make for a good dining experience. The oysters were described as medium, and they were really small. They over cooked the bass, like it was so burnt I couldn’t peel the skin off without taking all of the meat. "I highly recommend trying this restaurant. I have been wanting to come here for the past 2 years, but have always missed the opportunity because we usually visit on Sundays and Mondays when Radha Govinda is closed. However, this week we were lucky enough to come on a Saturday. We indulged in the most delicious cinnamon rolls and carrot cupcakes. The Tso's cauliflower was incredibly tasty, we ended up ordering 3 instead of just 1. Due to Covid-19, they only offer takeout and do not have dine-in service. Feeling truly blessed to have finally experienced this place."

"I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. It had been a while since I had such a nice experience dining out. The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was impressive. My friend has allergies, and they were very careful and attentive to that. Surprisingly, it was not crowded for a Saturday evening, but they still provided excellent service. I have been to many restaurants with more staff but less attentive service. They even anticipated when we were ready to leave without us having to ask for the bill. Overall, it was a beautiful experience and I will definitely be returning."

"I had a couple of hours to spare between appointments in the Colfax and Colorado Boulevard area, and unfortunately, the Starbucks just west of this café was closed for in-person dining. While heading west on Colfax, I noticed Fox Run and decided to go back and check it out. What a lucky find! The staff was incredibly welcoming. It was just after the lunch rush, and they gladly gave me the Wi-Fi password. When I expressed concern about the size of their Caesar salad, my server offered me a half portion, which I really appreciated. I also ordered half an avocado and a hibiscus lemonade. The atmosphere was great, with a nice mix of adults and children, and it wasn't too noisy at all. The staff was very attentive and didn't mind me working on my laptop for two and a half hours. The café is located at the corner of Monroe and Colfax, and I will definitely be returning for breakfast or lunch. I highly recommend supporting this wonderful local business! As for parking, your best bet is to park down Monroe."

I added a gluten free English muffin on the side.My girl friends ordered the stuffed French toast and the chicken and waffle. There was nothing left on either plate! I’m trying the chicken and waffles next time for sure!We also ordered bottle service to celebrate our friend getting her masters degree. It gave the three of us 2 mimosas each, and your choice of orange, pineapple or cranberry juice. We did orange and cranberry!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options for many items! If you?re hungry, they serve freshlymade quiches, crepes, waffles, and paninis. The service is phenomenal, friendly and professional. We had the turkey crepe andthe salmon crepe, both delicious. I also had the mocha latte with oat milk, pretty smooth and creamy. It?s a busy place withmost of the tables taken even at past noon. The mornings are even busier. If you go, just expect it?s a busy place! Don?t rushthe cook or the waitresses. Pretend you?re in Europe, where time is slower and expect a wait and enjoy your time."

"I was really saddened to learn that the Stanley location closed, but I didn't think it was too far to visit this new spot. I was excited to indulge in their delicious chicken and sides. Unfortunately, I ended up feeling quite disappointed, as the quality of the food at this location was not up to par with what I remember from the previous one. The chicken soup was missing the delightful smokiness I expected, the salad, which was supposed to feature a homemade vinaigrette, tasted bitter and overly oily, and the sandwich was, at best, mediocre. It definitely didn't feel worth the money we spent. That said, the apple slaw was excellent, and the bone-in chicken was very tasty. I’m not sure why there is such inconsistency with the food, but I left feeling a bit let down and unsure if I would return."
