"Late Food Friday post. Tried out Johnny Long Hots. Went with the Rocky Cutlet sandwich. It has a choice of cutlet, Prosciutto, broccoli rabe, and provolone on a seeded Italian roll. I choose chicken and this was a great sandwich. The chicken had a lot offlavor. Fried nicely and good seasoning on the breading. The rabe added some nice veggie flavor. The Prosciutto was alright. Theprovolone, rabe, and chicken brought a lot of flavor so it was a bit difficult to isolate the Prosciutto. The roll was fine andI think the seeds are a good addition. Solid 8.1 10. Also tried the long hot peppers. If you 're a fan of stuffed peppers theseare great. The skinny ends aren 't as spicy but as you get closer to the stem, the heat starts to ramp up. They pack some goodheat. We did the sampler. All of them are pretty good but I 'd probably go for the Prosciutto one. The flavors get drowned out bythe spice. Feel like they need some stronger flavored additions that can shine through the spice a little more. A blue cheesemight be a good move. I 'd give em 6 10. Also tried cheese fries. I always go for mozzarella. These were good. Big portion andnicely melted cheese. This is an awesome spot that has a lot of sandwich options. Would definitely come back to try more."

"This has become our new place officially after tonight. They made me a special plate for pity 's sake, it has to be our new place. My family is picky sometimes but tonight the weird order was on me. I really wanted some buffalo chicken fries. The whole shabang. Fries, melted mozzarella, (good) buffalo chicken seeping into everything and some Bleu cheese on the side. I thought I had seen it on the menu on Door dash but I must have been mistaken because the man on the phone told me that they didn 't have it. They offered to make the meal for me anyway (he must have heard that I was crushed). I was so hungry for it that I didn 't even ask for the price! I eagerly waited already knowing that their pizza is VERY GOOD (especially if you 're like my husband, from North Jersey) and the fries are salted, crinkle cut perfection... Even their cheese sauce for the fries tastes delicious. My plate (tin) arrived perfect. They cut buffalo chicken tenders up over a giant bed of mozzarella linked french fries. The Bleu cheese is the good kind too. Anyone who eats it knows that there are kinds that aren 't so good. And they kept it cold. Everything comes hot every time, even when they 're busy. They actually care about what YOU want to eat and that makes it feel more like home. They serve you a quality meal for a competitive price. It 's not the best price but it 's even better food. Mine was worth every penny and I have leftovers. They made me a plate like my Nona would have and I thoroughly enjoyed it."

"I went to this restaurant last night and we were promptly seated. However, by the time we finished our meal, the restaurant was full and there was a slight wait for tables. What really impressed me was that despite being constantly on the move, the manager, assistant manager, and waitress all took the time to check on us and make sure everything was alright. The food and drinks were delicious, but it was the exceptional service that truly stood out to me and motivated me to write this review. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future."

"I got to know Trenton, NJ, during the 1980s, which in hindsight was a golden era for Italian dining in the area. The Chambersburg section of the city was thriving with a variety of Italian restaurants, ranging from cozy and casual spots to elegant upscale venues. Of course, Trenton was also home to many fantastic tomato pie establishments, including Papa's, Joe's, and DeLorenzo's on Hudson Street, along with the rival DeLorenzo's on Hamilton Avenue. Around 1985, I couldn't believe it when a Pizza Hut opened in Trenton. Who would choose chain pizza in such an iconic tomato pie town?"

"My son and I stopped in today while in the area and figured we'd grab some pizza somewhere. I'm SO glad we stumbled upon Yordana's Pizza II. Classic small pizzeria feel to the place. A few booths are available for dining in. Friendly staff. We got plain slices. Excellent pizza. BIG slices. Almost boardwalk slice size. Great for the pizza folders out there. Nice thin crust, tasty basil tomato sauce and high quality mozzarella baked perfectly. A nicely balances pizza. Coke products. VERY happy we found this place. We will be returning soon..!"

"Stopped by for a last minute dinner since no one knew what to eat plus just being overall tired and hot to make dinnerPicked up a grilled chicken caesar salad for my husband, a turkey and cheese hoagie for myself and a Philly cheesesteak for my stepson. The woman at the register was very nice and it was just her and a young man behind the counter. The establishment was clean (no one else was there when we went a little after 7 pm and stocked with chips and beverages. This was our first time and took some time to look at the menu and decide. The woman behind the counter must have noticed and offered to help. My husband said he really enjoyed the chicken caesar salad; as for my turkey and cheese sandwich: not sure if it’s an option but for personal preference, I found the turkey to be too thick sliced and next time, I would ask if it can be thinly sliced..and also I would ask for a little more lettuce and tomato (again, just personal preference! My step son said his cheese steak was good (No pic he ate it way later on that night coming home from work The staff was super nice which made the experience great..I would try other items for next time but we did find it a bit on the pricier side."

"As someone who avoids gluten due to thyroid disease, life is pretty bleak. But yesterday I was able to eat a calzone for the first time in years! Gluten free baking is no easy task, and this place made a calzone that was thick and fluffy, just like a regular jawn. My husband, who is 100% Italian (50% even liked his food. Though he might have been lying to get laid (Just kidding! Neither of us like sex . Keep up the good work! I will definitely be back."

"I didn't spend much time at Slacks, but I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the patenhoagie, while my husband went for the Italian hoagie. He usually isn't very picky about food, but after finishing his, he mentioned that while the bread was great, there was hardly any meat. As for me, I'm a bit more particular, and when I order something like the Godfather Italian Hoagie, I expect more than just three slices of meat (and I'm not exaggerating here), not to mention barely a hint of sharp provolone on what felt like an oversized hotdog roll covered in seeds! I was really disappointed."

"A1 for YEARS has been my favorite restaurant and go to for hibachi. I frequent here ALL the time. Recently I noticed they must have new ownership/management and it is just not the same anymore. The wait staff is definitely better than it had been in recent years and Jeff (chef) is still the BEST. But they have clearly changed meat suppliers as the food, especially the steaks, are not nearly as good anymore. They changed the mustard sauce to “yum yum” sauce which is okay but not great. The zombies- must be lacking alcohol all together anymore because I had 3 and was BARELY buzzed. They rush you out by bringing over checks and boxes while you are still eating!! The air conditioning is definitely NOT fixed- I was there LAST NIGHT and it was hotter inside than outside- our whole party was dripping in sweat!! Overall, I still prefer A1 to the other local hibachi spot, but I wish they would have not messed with a good thing when they changed ownership- it was 1000000x better before."

"I took my dad here for Father's Day this morning, and we absolutely loved the food. The cream chipped beef was fantastic, and the potatoes were cooked to a perfect crisp with a soft center and great flavor—just spot on. The highlight of my visit, however, was the special of the day: a Chicken Salad Sandwich with tomato on a plain bagel that I took home for lunch. It was the best sandwich I've had in a long time! I also wanted to mention that my wife has to eat gluten-free, so it would be great to see gluten-free bread offered as an option as well."

"I really enjoy their sauces, especially the mango habanero, which is my all-time favorite for 12 wings. Wings To Go consistently includes a bit of extra sauce at the bottom of the takeout container, which is great for dipping your wings and adding some extra flavor. The only downside I encountered was that they don't label or mark the containers in your order. We ordered two different sauces and had to sample both to figure out which was which. It's not difficult, but labeling would definitely make things a bit easier!"

"I still can't eat inside the restaurant, but that's perfectly fine with me; I usually order my food through the app for pickup. I prefer to select in-store pickup since the drive-thru can get quite busy. They typically prepare your food in about five minutes, but it can take 10 or 15 minutes for larger meal orders placed ahead of time, which isn't an issue for me. The food is quite tasty, and my kids request it every week. We usually get two or more family meals that serve four people each. The fries are quite good as well. Our go-to order is the 12-piece tender meal with three sides. We often choose fries, macaroni and cheese, and mashed potatoes with gravy as our sides. My one son likes to eat the mac and cheese on its own the next day with a tender or two. You also get six biscuits, which I like to use to make chicken tender sandwiches. Overall, it's a fantastic dinner option for around $40. For a limited time, they even included a drink bucket, which was nice since we got the lemonade, which is really tasty too. KFC is always our top choice when ordering takeout!"

"10-24-23 around 3pm very rude assistant manager with a ring in her nose and clear glasses refused to give a refund after service was completely wrong and the food was old. Asked for her name she said i don 't have one as her and another employee laughed at me. Never in my life have I been treated so badly from a Burger king employee. Might be a good idea for the regular manager to not leave these two employees at the helm. This assistant manager in training also told me if I don 't move my car she will call the police. For shame Burger King you should really train your assistant managers better. If she makes manager there is something wrong with this place."
