"This restaurant has a cozy and charming atmosphere. The menu is perfectly tailored to its clientele, focusing on a select number of dishes so they can execute everything with excellence instead of spreading themselves too thin. They are particularly known for their breaded pork tenderloin sandwich, which I believe is the best in all of Southern Indiana and could even win state recognition. Their seafood options are also outstanding, featuring catfish, cod, oysters, and shrimp, all prepared to perfection. They offer a full liquor bar, and beer and wine are available as well. The service is incredibly prompt—be sure to ask for Joe!"

"My doughnut tasted like hairspray, literally. I’ve never had this problem here, but I’m extremely disgusted! My kids’ said theirs was fine. The chocolate mousse was the hairspray one. I have no idea what they could’ve done for it to taste like that! Edit to add I think it was possibly spoiled after talking to someone there. They fixed the issue and I appreciate it"

"I was excited to see an Italian restaurant on the Indiana side. Was disappointed to find out this is the worst Italian food I've ever had. I had Lasagna, it was like it was baked dry without sauce, then a Vodka sauce poured around it before serving. Just terrible. Wife had Chicken Francese, did not resemble any I've ever seen before and the flavor was tasteless. Can't figure out how this place was rated as high as Volare, a real Italian restaurant. Trust me, the 4 and 5 star rating you see on this site are wrong! Olive Garden is miles above this place. I'm not even going to talk about the service."

"This place is hit or miss. When its a hit they have good pizza. But when its a miss- and its been a-miss much more lately -you either get a burnt pizza or a pizza that has been pre-made and sitting under a heat lamp drying out for far too long. I got a pizza last monday ordered with extra paste and the pizza we got was slightly burnt and dried out without actually be hot and fresh. It was barley warm and dried out like it gad been sitting out. Im tried of places increasing their prices and decreasing the quality."

"On Wednesday afternoon, the restaurant was empty. We ordered the queso dip, but it was bland, so we requested some pico de gallo to add some flavor. After that, we shared a carne asada, which was unfortunately terrible—it was so tough that even a steak knife struggled to cut it. When we pointed out how tough it was, the staff brought out some Arta-Rind tips we had ordered, but they were missing the pepper and swirl. The manager was rude and suggested we might be better off going to El Nopal next time. His behavior was completely unprofessional!"

"This review is not based on the pizza, which I might review some other time, I simply want to talk about the Philly cheese sandwich. Every time we get this, which is a few times a month, it is very good and at times it is beyond excellent. I came up with a four star review only because there's been a few times that the meat was a little bit lacking or slightly lukewarm, but this weekend our order was super hot and thick as mud, absolutely delectable and delightful! I'm not from Philadelphia and I've never had an authentic Philly cheese steak sandwich, but that little bit of information aside, Domino's version is both filling and salivatingly good. The sandwich is big enough that you can divide it up, and I like to eat one half of it on a Friday evening and the other half Saturday afternoon it's still delicious reheated! Whatever you guys are doing over there, keep it up!"

"Went through drive through yesterday and could hear two employees very loudly arguing. I asked young man at the window “Are they fighting?” He said “It’s over something stupid.” I heard one say “Well I’m over YOU!” The young man at the window was obviously embarrassed and expressed that he couldn’t wait to leave, but used the curse word “f__king”. I told him to tell them that their customers can hear them. If that wasn’t bad enough, my $5+tax order was totally cold as if it had sat there for an hour before they served it to me. It was borderline refrigerator cold. I’m so disappointed with the whole experience. I feel like I am due my money back or a replacement of my food. Your employees should be talked to. When you call, you end up talking to someone with a heavy accent who's difficult to understand! The app indicated that my pizza was ready, but when I arrived at the store to pick it up, the staff acted completely clueless about my order. I had to recreate it without even being able to check what I originally ordered. This is no way to operate a business! The staff, mostly teenagers, seem to lack any understanding of customer service. "We were visiting my cousin's new home in Floyds Knobs and decided to go out for dinner at this restaurant. The service was exceptional; our cups were always filled, and our waitress was fantastic! Unfortunately, I can't recall her name, but it was her first night on the job. We asked her if she'd like to play a little game, and she happily agreed. I asked her to choose a number between 5 and 10, and she picked 7. As a result, I tipped her $70! She was absolutely stunned and incredibly grateful. I told her to keep up the great work, and that we would definitely return to see her again!"

"I went there today at about 630pm just one person in front of ordering. After we ordered 2 double burgers and fries and a blizzard, we got our drinks and a sat down. Our blizzard took about 5 minutes to come out but after waiting 20 more minutes after that, people who had ordered after us had their food but our food had not been brought out so we walked up and I asked nicely if we had an eta on our food the girl kinda brushed us off as if we had just ordered. We asked someone else after waiting a few more minutes. They said our order had been given to doordash people and it would be 2 minutes to cook new burgers so they asked the back people for 2 cheeseburgers. The cooks were confused since apparently our order was already x'd out even though we didn't receive it. Almost 10 minutes after that a double and 2 single cheeseburgers were put in a bag and given to us. As we were already starving and frustrated after waiting over 45 minutes we just took the completely wrong order and left. It was all cold and wrong"

"The food was mediocre at best it was similar to cheap carnival food wing sauces were bleh and the 9$ chips and queso came with stale bagged chips and a fancy Styrofoam cup of so cheesy white queso generic as could be watered down bland cheese was pissed it was 9$ my wife had a burger she compared to frozen box patties kroger has said it was not good or awful but very bland there was like 4 tables occupied when I visited still took waitress like 10 mins to get us drinks then another 20 mins to take our order .... I was on lunch break ??? . Also before we were seated on the way to the dirty table she had tried to set us at then had to change direction because the table was filthy ... I had noticed the floor emwas very tacky or sticky my shoes made terrible sounds all the way to sit down if I had my shoes any more loosethen they were I may have lost one the menu,s were also dingy ! I would not recommend this location or really beef obradys to anyone was my first exp at this restaurant or this location and I would say don't come unless your trump lmao"

"Amore is located in a shopping center, on the back, easy to overlook. But not! We stayed on Thursday evening without reservation. We sat right away, but the house was almost full. We started with beautiful rustic bread, served with garlic bread. A perfect little appetizer as we have penetrated the menu. A beautiful assortment of pastas, ducks and meal salads. Besides, several nightly specialties. Hubby chose Lasagne, I chose a special Chicken Kennedy. Portions were more than sufficient and the food was delicious. Some of the best Italian food I've had for years! Rich, tasteful and competently prepared. We have rooms for dessert (not easy to do! and chose the 7-layer carrot cake. If you are a fan of carrot cake, don't miss this! Moist, spicy and not excessively sweet with the correct amount of cream cheese frosting. The portion is huge! There is a complete bar, a small wine card and a beer list with some crafts. Service was friendly, comprehensible and attentive. If you want to go on a weekend get reservations!"
