From a photographer's perspective, I can confidently say that Roostertail was beyond our expectations for the wedding day. The food was absolutely delicious, and I heard from numerous guests that it was one of the best wedding meals they had ever had. The customer service was outstanding!!! Nicole and her team were nothing short of amazing, treating me, a vendor, as part of her team. An absolute DREAM to work with her! I am always impressed by this venue's beautiful backdrops and natural light, making it almost easy to capture stunning images. "Consistency is key. You know when you go to Hydrangea Cafe you are always going to get excellent homemade food. The owner takes pride in everything she puts out it truly shows in the quality , and taste. I highly recommend the Belgian French fries , chicken ceaser wrap and GP burger. "visited the facility with my engagement this morning and had the joy that maria was our server. Since many people came to the city, they were not as friendly or seemed as if they had no geduld. she is such a shady, very friendly, so professional! with this proverb goes a small quality a long way. the eating was amazing and the orange juice tasted like freshly squeezed oranges, so that definitiw was a plus. I am definitiw back before my trip to virginia. many thanks for the delicious food and exceptional service!"

"Found my self in the area and thought I would stop in and treat myself to a cupcake or two. I have to say the inside is just beautiful. I felt as if I was back in Paris as I ordered a chocolate and a bacon and cheese croissant to include one of each flavor cupcake: chocolate chocolate, yellow with vanilla icing and a red velvet. The bacon and cheese croissant was not as flaky /buttery as I had anticipated. They have a grand selection of sandwiches and a coffee bar too. All of the items in my order were very good. I would certainly return."

"I referred this restaurant to a friend who wanted Thai food. I picked up the food and drove back past East Land. We both had chicken and pineapple fried rice and it was very over cooked. The rice and meat was mushed together. I called to speak to a manager and he ensured me that he would credit the meals so that we could come back later and retrieve edible meals because I had driven so far. I called back a week or two later to have a different “manager” tell me that the meals were only credited 50% and that’s what it said on the receipt. When I asked to speak to the person who wrote the note of course they weren’t the but the current manager refused to rectify the information. Instead of making the correction she argued with me about what their policy which was never initially explained. I am highly disappointed in the food as well as the service. I hope they can restore both back to their standard"

"Hi, I'm a student at Grosse Pointe South and for anybody in the Grosse Pointe area, this is the place to be for a lunch! During lunch break from school I always come here for the pizza and wings and they're amazing! The staff and owner are so kind and I really like coming here for lunch! We just got back full time at South High School and we all miss seeing this pizza place open for a lunch stop because you guys are open from 4-8pm. Is there any chance that business hours will eventually change because we love coming here for lunch!"

"It pains me to say this, especially since we supported this restaurant with bi-weekly curbside pick-up during COVID and really wanted to be understanding during tough times. However, I've noticed a significant decline in quality over the past year. They often get our orders wrong, the food is frequently dry, and the pick-up times are inconsistent. In the last two or three take-out experiences, I've arrived on time only to find that they had either lost my order or hadn't even started making it. I’m willing to give them a chance to regroup and improve, but they need to act quickly!"

"I recently visited the Neighborhood Club and decided to order a coffee and a baker's dozen of bagels. I placed a quick pick-up order using their mobile app to save time, as the restaurant was quite busy. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting 15 minutes for my order. Additionally, I was disappointed to discover that I only received 12 bagels instead of the 13 I had ordered. The staff did not offer to replace the missing bagel. Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience and would rate the restaurant 1 star lower due to this issue."

"I thought it was noisy even though it was not busy. Cooling/ ventilation system? Made it difficult to hear. I had the rainbow carrot shareable and it would have been good if the carrots were cooked more. I struggled to cut them with the knife provided and had to leave the wider portions uneaten because I could not cut them. I had paid my bill and was going to finish the last third of my wine when I realized there was a large black fly swimming in it. It was brought to the attention of our server who apologized but did not make an offer to replace even a partial glass of wine. I was dining indoors not outside. Not very good customer service."

"If I could rate this place 0, I would. First of all when you're seated be sure to look up! The fans have a large build up of filth. I'm certain it's been consumed by an unsuspecting customer or two.We've eaten here many times in the past and have never had a bad experience until today.My husband ordered fried eggs well done that came out very soft. The waitress took the eggs back. It was at least 15 minutes in addition to the 40 minutes we had to wait initially to be served. We were told there were alot of carry out orders.The eggs were unacceptable again. It appeared that the cook threw the same eggs back on the griddle. They were very hard fried with a plastic appearance.We told the waitress we were not paying for them.Instead of calling a manager, which is normally protocol she blew up. She took the order off the bill and slammed the bill on the table. Then in a very loud voice said have a nice day, I am!If that's not bad enough, she went back behind the counter to make fun of us in an audible tone in front of her coworkers, and the rest of the restaurant.I honestly can't remember having such horrible experience with wait staff anywhere.What's really terrible is that it appears from other reviews management condones this type of customer service."

"Happened across this curbside only pickup spot driving in Grosse Pointe and decided to peruse the menu online. WOW what great assortment of unique dishes. Tried the Coriander Chicken w/ coriander chutney, yogurt coconut milk; served w/ green beans pistachios over basmati rice. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the coconut milk with the chutney paired the chicken perfectly. If vegetarian and/or just looking for good Reuben sandwich highly recommend the Grilled Artichoke Reuben w/ carmelized onions, spinach, sauerkraut Swiss cheese Russian dressing on the side. One of the best Reuben sandwiches meat or meatless I have ever tried. The artichoke hearts added such a great flavor to this sandwich"
