"Would not return, and honestly am highly considering filing a lawsuit for the way I was treated here. I was in town scoping out potential places to call home, and applying for jobs in the area. I stumbled upon Silver Mountain and Noah 's bar, and was immediately in love. It was stunning, and I thought it would be a really refreshing place to maybe start over in a new town. The bartender and manager were friendly upon my first visit to Noah 's, and after I explained my situation to the manager she generously offered to snag me an application since she had openings at the bar. After experiencing such great service in a such a fantastic atmosphere, I was really looking forward to the opportunity to interview and maybe work at this establishment. I waited a couple of days and never got a response. Come to find out, the manager threw my application away because it got a couple spots of grease on it and called me unprofessional . Is that something a manager should do, considering they are short staffed and need applicants who are willing to work a tough job? I am a registered nurse--I 've seen countless bouts of unprofessionalism in the workplace, and the way I was treated was unprofessional beyond belief. I watched the workers at that bar busting their butts just to get treated exactly how I was treated by the same manager. Not ok. I won 't tolerate it for myself, or for others. After hearing my application was thrown away, I went to go print off my professional resume to hand to the manager. I went to hand it off to her and she completely ignored me. I felt like I didn 't exist. I also had my service dog with me (who is both a medical and emotional support dog for seizures and panic attacks), and she told me I had to leave the restaurant because I had an animal with me. That is illegal, and definitely grounds to sue. I 've worked a bunch of different management positions in nursing, and have held several leadership positions both in the school and community. I 've had great managers and really crappy ones, and witnessing first hand the way the manager at Noah 's treated both myself and her workers, she honesty should not be managing that bar, or seriously needs to take some classes on management. I 'm not surprised Noah 's can 't keep staff--it 's a toxic work environment and will continue to have problems unless something is changed. I do want to give a shout out to one of the bartenders that served me: Brandon. He was kind, he listened, and I watched as he worked his butt off to give excellent service to the people at the bar. I can tell he really cares about his bar, and deserves so much better."

"#59-2021 The Iowa best burger and Cafe located at the old gas station stop over outside of Newton Iowa on interstate 80 approximately 45 minutes east of Des Moines. About the turn of the century circa 99 in the 2000 they put a campground in here which stays full a lot some people like staying here. The little gas station is just basically like a KOA store you walk in there they got soda they got beer and they got snacks and that's about it it's very small. Real Cafe is hooked right up you walk right in and there it is. I haven't been here and probably close to at least 3 years or more usually when I'm trucking across 80 and they're either not open yet or they're closed. They still close at 9:00 p.m. this is such a small town in the middle of nowhere once you get off the interstate Kellogg's about a mile up the road but it's one of those towns where they roll up the sidewalks at night. Walking in I was greeted and perused the little menu they have and decide to go with an old-fashioned big half-pound burger bacon cheese lettuce tomato ketchup mustard no pickle or onion. And the diet Pepsi fries with no salt. they doing four of no refills on drinks you 50 cents I said fine whatever. Was definitely nice and clean everything was wiped down small and quaint dining room always has been they do not open for breakfast. Okay the nasty cans. Could definitely do a little better bathroom detail indeed. They are unisex bathrooms one horse stalls lock the doors. although they were kind of skunky and funky. Luckily I just had to whizzarino had I needed to have a seat I would have trucked up to loves 5 miles down the road LOL. They have basic sandwiches I think next time I come through I may either try the pork tenderloin or the Iowa pork chop it sounded pretty good if it's open when I'm coming through here they have shakes and mulch and soft serve ice cream they now also have fresh made deli sandwiches better available too made on site. My burger came out I was very impressed half pound two patties quarter pound patties stacked with everything I wanted on it. was delicious nice and juicy couldn't complain there the fries crinkle fries with no salt or excellent too just like I remembered it's all in all my visit was really satisfying for what it was and I left with a happy tummy ready to roll some miles. Was a about 90 almost summer day temperature wise but the good thing was the air conditioners do a great job it was very nice cool and comfortable in there also."

"Visiting Northern Idaho after many years of being away. Being from the Seattle/Tacoma area, we have MANY dining options, and have experienced most of them. That being said, Hill Street Depot was INCREDIBLE. We had stopped several locals to ask where we should eat and most of them pointed us to this Diner. From the moment we entered the lady who was our server (wish I had asked her name, made us feel like we were regulars. There were 8 of us and she immediately helped set up seating, and from there she only got better. There were even toys for the kids in our party, which made them very happy. The Hawwiaan BBQ nachos were chosen as an appetizer before we had even settled. They were a large portion size, topped with fresh and flavorful toppings. The 6 adults made fast work, but was definitely a good deal for the quantity. I asked what our server would suggest if this was my only visit, and she told us that all the meats are smoked in house, and suggested the Nothern Idaho Cheese Steak or the Cuban. She did not steer us wrong. They ere so good, and so fresh. We all can handle our share of food, and these were great portion sizes. The ambiance was so inviting and true to the region (with the exception of the Oregon Ducks....go Huskies haha. I would encourage anyone who is driving through, or past Kellogg to stop in. You won 't be disappointed. side note- we also stopped in next door for coffee drinks, (at the Bean, which we were told has the same owners. I will review it as well, but AWESOME experience, as well."
