"They were advertising one price for food on outside window and if you went inside the prices were higher. When asked about it the outside prices were older and when asked why they hadn't taken them down , I was told they were waiti g for new signs. If you advertise a a lower prive you have to give the customer that price. If I hadn't went inside I wouldn't have know they were charging higher prices. You are supposed to be able to trust the places you eeat at. They also got very rude when I started asking about prices. I did not order from them."

"We got to our hotel late and we're trying to find somewhere open. The chicken shack was. We ordered a burger and fries, onion rings, grilled cheese and tomato soup. Gave a pick up time for about 15 minutes. I did have to wait about 5 minutes upon arrival but that was okay. Staff were very friendly. Reasonably priced. If you order online, make sure to do it through their website because prices are much cheaper. Portion sizes are adequate. The grilled cheese could had been cooked a little longer, but I would definitely have food from there again. The onion rings were 5/5. Even delicious the next morning cold. The burger was pretty good too, but needed a bit of seasoning. Get the shack sauce!! It's kind of like a raising canes sauce but a little tangier. I'd love to try something else if I ever come back."

The fine photographs on the walls of the restaurant were a welcome extension of our time at the prairie and especially the one of the etheral Pasqueflowers it is almost Easter after all. ; And the food and service were exceptional! "When we ate inside the amount of food was more than when we got to go. Chicken fingers were nice and plump inside but got to go they were very small. Slaw was full of liquid. Green beans was only good thing about meal. Left out sauces. We ordered cookies,2 packs. They were not put in or charged because their friend behind us told them to save them the cookies, so they got them.Had to wait for others to cook. We live in another state so can't go back to get. Also ordered 2 scoops of ice cream in cup, onescoop vanilla and 1 chocolate. Was told we would have to pay separately and extra because not same favor. Always something whenwe get it to go but no problems dining in. We stopped here several times while traveling."

"Had the smoked cheeseburger, sweet potato fries and mac and cheese. Others had the barbecue plate and BBQ sandwich, regular fries and mac cheese. The barbecue had a good flavor but it was a little dry. And the barbecue sauce was different in that it was tomatoey vinegar based. It was okay but not my favorite. The smoked cheeseburger was really good. It had a smoked flavor and it was not dry. The sweet potato fries were very very good. They mac and cheese was okay. The homemade pound cake was very very good and moist. The service was good and the guy behind the cash register was very friendly and very helpful. Will probably stop there again for another burger and pound cake. Or maybe just the pound cake. Went again on the weekend and had their special Shrimp and Grits. It was really good, had sausage and a soft fried egg in the middle. Should be on the regular menu!"

"The Subway is conveniently located right on the main road, and it has a modern feel with its large sign showcasing the Subway logo. "I truly love this restaurant! The staff is friendly and attentive; they’re not intrusive but are always close by if you need anything. The other diners create a nice atmosphere too! We've been here twice—once for breakfast and once for dinner—and we've thoroughly enjoyed both meals. The only minor issue my husband had was that his baked potato was slightly overcooked."

"Vinnie is the COOLEST! It's a small restaurant with a BIG personality. There's always music playing, and the walls are adorned with fun kitsch decorations. However, they struggle with properly texturing the milk for lattes, and I noticed they keep a jug of espresso on hand for the coffee drinks. "Don't Miss Out on the Delicious Food at Tater's! Tater's Restaurant in Luverne is definitely worth the visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. I had a Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap that was absolutely delicious, and the wrap didn't fall apart despite being loaded up with delicious ingredients! The French Fries were also perfect. My wife had the Pulled Pork and was raving about it all day definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Overall, Tater's is an amazing restaurant and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for some great local food!"
