"A gem in the middle of an old shopping center. The owner did a great job of renovating the space to make it comfortable and subdued. The noise level is quiet and comfortable. The service was friendly, accommodating, and in my opinion, outstanding especially in the sense that you are not rushed from cocktail to appetizers to dinners to desserts and coffee. The special cocktails were innovative with interesting ingredients, some being infused with bacon. I found the presentation of the plates to be nicely coordinated with generous proportions throughout the meal. The food quality is primo, cooked perfectly to order, placed on the table hot and the taste was supreme. The desserts were varied for many different tastes. I, myself, am not a dessert guy but did taste the decadent chocolate cake which, in fact, was very decadent and reminiscent of good, creamy fudge. To make the experience even better, the owner, Rick, came to the table to offer you a choice of three cellos lemon, orange vanilla and I can 't remember the third one. Incidentally, all of the cellos were homemade and simply delicious. I highly recommend this hidden gem not only for special occasions, but for any occasion. In fact, Osteria 545 should be your new local favorite restaurant. After our dining experience, I can honestly say that it is certainly, now, our go to place."
