I’ve been to countless places where small requests are prioritized, but at Ixtapa, you’ll find yourself waiting indefinitely for everything.

On the positive side, the food is exceptional—it’s fresh, not greasy, and surpasses many other Mexican restaurants I’ve tried. However, the appalling service overshadows the quality of the food. You can even see patrons loitering at the entrance because the staff is too distracted to welcome them. Had I not been warned about the service, I would have left feeling even more frustrated.
