"I ordered the pan-seared scallops with polenta, bacon, and asparagus. The scallops were fresh from New Bedford, and you could really taste the quality! They had a beautiful color, were cooked to perfection, and the flavor was outstanding. This was my first experience with polenta, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was, especially when paired with the bacon. The asparagus was super fresh and a lovely light green, just right in texture.
For drinks, I enjoyed a flight of Sangria featuring watermelon, mango, raspberry, and pineapple. Each glass was perfectly matched to its respective color, and my favorite was the mango!
As for appetizers, you absolutely must try the skewered candied bacon! You can brush on your own butterfly glaze, and it's simply incredible! It's perfect for eating straight off the skewer or pushing it off to enjoy by hand. The texture was just right—not too chewy, and the thickness was perfect for each piece.
My sister ordered the chicken with rice and glazed carrots. I didn’t try her meal, but I sampled a few of the carrots, and they were vibrant and fresh—definitely made them taste even better! She claimed her entire meal was perfect!
Kelly, the manager, came by to check on us, and she even mentioned that I could buy the glaze right next to the restaurant, which I did! I was so impressed with the food that after my first visit, I texted my son and told him to order whatever he wanted, and I would bring it home for him.
