"The miso soup was the first thing to arrive, and while it was a bit lukewarm, it was still comforting. The deep-fried soft-shell crab basket I ordered came out fresh and fully cooked, which I appreciated as it was my first time trying one. It was absolutely delicious! The white tuna and smoked salmon were both perfectly prepared; these happen to be some of my favorite fish.
My nephew ordered the tobiko California roll and a regular California roll, and he really enjoyed them. I had a dish of bibimbap, which was filling and didn't leave much room for sushi, but it made for a great lunch the next day—just like the way my grandma used to make it in Texas. I attempted to enjoy the uni (sea urchin), but I find the texture a bit too slimy for my taste, though I still finished both pieces!
The samanco was a lovely dessert! I was too full to finish it there, so I took it home and enjoyed a melted version later. While the service was slow initially, I must say that we only had one waitress, and she was incredibly sweet, polite, and attentive. Overall, the customer service and the food made the hour-long drive very worthwhile!"
