"I absolutely loved the location, the food, the service, and the mission of this restaurant! The Drummond Culinary Academy at Rancho Cielo is dedicated to training at-risk youth for careers in fine dining, and from what I observed, they're doing an outstanding job! I would have given it five stars, but I had to ask for a new set of utensils for my dessert course. I know it might seem a bit nitpicky, but given the impeccable standard of food and service I experienced up to that point, it stood out to me. It's amazing to think that the students working and cooking there are mostly in their teens and early twenties! The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. I found the set price of $38 for a three-course meal to be very reasonable considering the quality and level of service. They also offer a fantastic wine list, featuring wines donated by local wineries. This place is truly a hidden gem in a serene, countryside setting. Be sure to reserve a table on their website—it's open on Fridays only, with four seating times available."

"I recently tried a protein boba drink, but it turned out to be a big mistake for my stomach. I waited around 15 to 18 minutes for it, and when I finally got it, it wasn't properly made. There were still clumps of protein powder in the drink, and it was quite warm. Since I was in a hurry, I couldn't return it and felt compelled to drink it despite it costing about $7. I regret that choice deeply, and now my stomach is suffering. BE CAUTIOUS!"

"The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent, and the service is always friendly. My family and I dine here about once a week, and both my daughter and husband thoroughly enjoy it. The tuna salad from the fit and light menu is particularly delicious and tastes very fresh. My husband always orders the Bob's burger, while my daughter loves the waffle with chicken strips. We are never disappointed with the food, as it is consistently top-notch. One of the reasons we keep coming back is because we appreciate being able to dine out later in the evening without feeling rushed or receiving subpar service because the restaurant is about to close. Noel and Jessie, the staff members, are always incredibly friendly, and the service is excellent. We truly enjoy dining here! <3"

"Gino 's isn 't the same! The restaurant recently changed ownership so I suppose that is what 's going on. There were four of us ordering appetizers main courses. The bruschetta was inedible with cold unripe tomatoes tossed in tons of preserved sulfured garlic as in all you could taste was preservative from the crushed garlic and they didn 't even toast the bread. The Barrata was literally a ball of Barrata and one sliced unripe tomatoe. By the way, it 's July when tomatoes are great. The cannelloni was full of bread crumbs almost no meat. It was gummy and the pasta wasn 't good. The raviolis have changed too, which was a strong point there. My son ordered the special which was a combination of small portions of three mains and was disappointed in all of them. My husband ordered the polenta and stew and was just okay. The cappuccino machine was broken and the Tiramisu wasn 't the same. The restaurant wasn 't very crowded for a Sunday night so I think they already are feeling the pain of the kitchen not delivering. The hostess, bartender and server was very good. Get it together Gino 's! Saving money with poor ingredients and cooking will cost you success, or at least our business."

"This restaurant is extremely noisy, the food is bland, and the service is terrible. I would definitely recommend going elsewhere, as there are much better sushi options in Salinas. If you're in the mood for Japanese cuisine, there are also better choices in town. I didn't try the hibachi, so I can't comment on that, but it is even louder on that side of the restaurant. If you have epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing lights, be cautious as they have flashing lights that they may turn on without warning. If someone in your party is sensitive to loud noise, this place may be overwhelming for them as well."

"The food at Khao San is excellent, with generous servings at a reasonable price. The golden chicken fried rice was exactly as described by other reviewers, with plenty of rice and leftovers to take home. While I was hoping for Filipino-style fried chicken, the breaded fillet was more American than Asian. However, the light and crispy breading and juicy chicken made up for it. The pad thai is the best in Monterey County, with a perfect sauce. Although it lacked bean sprouts on the side like our favorite pad thai at TK Noodles, it was still delicious and served in generous portions. Another plus was being able to dine in and enjoy the nice restaurant atmosphere with ceramic dishes, real silverware, and filtered water. Overall, with good food, service, portions, and pricing, I highly recommend Khao San."

"We had lunch from there after reading the reviews. Order the Michelangelo a side of 5 meatballs. The Michelangelo Pasta was good, but the meatballs were pretty embarrassing. They tasted like the bags that just warmed up the sauce was tasteless. Ragu would have been better."

"I tried Indian food but did not like much at other places, but here its very good food and the best thing is you can add spices as per your choice. Butter Chicken I really loved it. Recommended for Indian food choice. Services are good. Only thing is they close at 9pm so if you want to eat then best time to go here is 6 8:30pm. Quantity and quality both are good. Butter Chicken cost around 13. Biryani is also good. Sometimes during the weekend, they serve butter chicken with plain rice as a complimentary. I enjoyed eating here. Friendly staff and understand your taste."

"I'm skicked at how good this was ! So delicous and crispy! I had two breakfast bagels, 1 Sausage, Egg Cheese Bagel and 1 Bacon, Egg Cheese Bagel! Bacon was my favorite because of the crispiness. I loved the Triple Berry W/cream cheese too! Must try in Salinas."

"Blue Cheese Steak Flatbread was underwhelming . The amount of steak was teeny tiny. It was missing some items described and usually comes with. It was basically a head of lettuce with a tiny sprinkle of tomatoes and bacon. The flat bread itself was a huge portion and really delicious. asked for side of Ranch. But it was not good... you should really stop serving that to anyone. plus it was not cold salad dressing. kind of bummed it seems like there was not a lot of love or preparation taken for a $26.00 item. Appreciated that we asked for condiments and they were given. Hubby enjoyed the California Club Croissant ... as his usual order. Fries... scant amount but were still warm. Ordered soup and it didn't come so that was a bummer. But Doordash gave a credit. Wish I could leave a better review. But food has been kind of declining... packaged nicely."

"This is the most authentic and amazing Italian food we have ever tasted! Don't let this hidden gem in Salinas go unnoticed. You must try the linguini with clams - it's fantastic. The service is great and the Italian music adds to the wonderful atmosphere. Pasta Mia has become my new favorite spot in Salinas. Forget about overpriced and dry Gino's, go to Pasta Mia instead!"

"We were recommended this restaurant for its food and decor, but we were so caught up in the moment that we didn't really pay attention to the decor during our visit. We dined indoors for dinner, and while the food was enjoyable, the prices were quite steep. We ordered Agedashi Tofu, a Super California Roll, and Nigiri sushi. I would personally skip the tofu. The nigiri was excellent, featuring fresh seafood, and there was one fish that stood out for being particularly tender and sweet, although we couldn't identify what kind it was. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience."

"I don’t eat Mexican food all the time. But when I do, this place is my first choice. I love getting food here. The asada fries are the bomb and the California burrito, boy that is the best burrito I have ever eaten that’s not a breakfast burrito. I so love to eat here and if you love Mexican food I highly recommend it. This place is delicious!!!"

"I love their food and the employees typically have excellent service but the last time I went I was disgusted. I went though the drive through and order some food for our family. We parked and were about to eat in our car until I opened the bag and saw a hair on my kids fries. Ok sometimes things happen so decided to go inside to have them switch his fries for a new batch. Well that just grossed me out even more. The employee that was packing the food in the bags coughed into her hand and then proceeded to keep packing the food into the bags. She didn't bother to go wash her hands. I told the employee who handed me the new fries but she didn't really react. Nasty. That turned me off to going back there."

"Feel like Japanese? DONT ORDER FROM HERE. In fact, it should be renamed SUSHI D'RAMA. The chicken Chicken Teriyaki (D) was dry and burnt to char on ends. The Teriyaki Sauce was the only redeeming part of it. The California Roll was sent without soy sauce for the Wasabi. (Leftover Teriyaki sauce saved that issue, too). Requested utensils but got nothing, not even chopsticks. By the time I got the delivery they had closed so no way to resolve things This was my second AND FINAL order from here."

"I was charged an extra dollar for a super thin slice of avocado on a basic taco at this restaurant. Despite this, I decided to give them a chance and ordered 3 super tacos and a horchata. Unfortunately, the horchata didn't taste quite right. When I went to sit down, I noticed that the table wasn't very clean and had to wipe it down myself. The server brought the food and placed some salsa samples on the table without saying a word. I also realized that there were no limes provided with the tacos. Overall, it was clear that the restaurant lacked pride in their food, customer service, and sanitation. I left feeling disappointed and will not be returning."

"I really like the food. Very tasty and good quality. Also there is a lot of variety and different foods compared to other Mexican restaurants I have been too. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because of the horrible service. First they told us the wait time was 45min when it ended up being 90 minutes. Then we were seated, and no one came to our table for solid 5 minutes. We asked for a hard copy menu and a busboy said he would bring us one, but never showed up again. We had to ask again as the QR code was not working due to their poor cell service. Then as we were finished, the waitress made a snarky comment about us rushing out of here when we weren 't, we were just asking for to-go boxes as we were finished eating. This is my second time at this restaurant and the first time I was in a large group and the servers kept bringing up the wrong drinks and food. From two experiences, it is evident the service staff cannot handle the pressure with large crowds or groups. The food is excellent, but I would only ever get take out as the service at this restaurant has definitely ruined my experience here."

"I recently visited The Habit for the first time for lunch with a friend after our original restaurant choice was closed. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious and fresh food options at The Habit. The portion sizes were generous and the staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and had a simple decor. We tried the Santa Barbara and Porto Charburgers with sweet potato fries and enjoyed our meal with soft drinks. The bill came in at under $30, which was a great value. The restaurant also offers Impossible burger patties. They provide recycling signs at the bins to make it easy for customers to recycle. Overall, I highly recommend giving The Habit a try and I definitely plan on returning to try more of their menu items. Plenty of parking is available at the shopping center where the restaurant is located and wheelchair accessibility is not an issue."

"I had a fantastic experience with the customer service when I ordered our meals. The four-for-four meals were prepared exceptionally well. The burgers were fresh, the fries were crispy and hot, and of course, the drinks complemented everything perfectly. I want to express my gratitude to all the Wendy's staff for making my evening a bit easier. Great job, West Ridge Wendy's!"
