"Café Rio is always my to go restaurant when I want Mexican grill. I am from Provo Utah. I was visiting Zion National Park today and after an all day hike I wanted some delicious food. I was choosing from a local Mexican restaurant, Café Rio and In-N-Out. I trusted Café Rio so much and went there. It was horrible HORRIBLE experience! I was waiting in the line around 5:30PM. The lady and her daughter were one of the employee or manager’s (He dressed different color polo shirt) friends or family member. I understand if your families come to eat at the restaurant you working in. However, this employee laterally chatting with them for over 7-10 minutes during the busy dinnertime!!! In addition, the waiting line was so long! That was something I’ve never seen in Café Rio before. Finally it was my turn. I ordered my food but they were telling me there were no pico and lime. It was dinnertime. It was not late afternoon or late night! All three employees were chatting the same time and it was so SLOW! I went to get utensils and napkin. They did even have napkin ready. The table looked chaotic. After finished my food, I went to bathroom and it was nasty! It smells like train station with pees. The pee stall was clogged and not urinal screen. That was why water came out. I took some picture as evidence. I love Café Rio a lot! I hope this is the only problem with this restaurant. I hope Café Rio can really figure out WHAT IS GOING ON AT THIS LOCATION!? I don’t want this ruin the Café Rio brand!"

"I have heard about this place for a long time and was very excited to try it. First off, we sent people early to get us a table. I was surprised at how fast we were able to be seated. But the. Was very disappointed when they insisted on splitting us up into two tables. So to start, we were 2 tables of 4 rather than one of 8. Our server started out great! So attentive and pretty fun to talk to! The menu seemed fine. And each person at our table ordered something different for variety. So we tasted a lot. The Ahi tuna, great flavor and quality. Didn?t like cooking it on the stone. Nor did I like the sauces to dip it in. Baseball steak amazing. Again maybe over peppered but tender and moist. Cooked on stone at table. I was surprised how long the stone stayed hot. Scallops and shrimp were grilled in kitchen and came out fantastic. Salmon was cooked in kitchen and was done just as I like it. Mashed potatoes were great. Many in our party ordered the mixed vegetables as a side. They were fine. But covered in cheese. Many of us ordered our dinner salad without cheese so we were all surprised that our veggies had cheese in them. Cheese wasn?t listed in the menu. We should have been told that. Also the pre dinner salad was terrible. It was 1 onion. 1 crouton and 1 tomato with terribly wilted lettuce. The ambiance of the restaurant was cheap and dingy. The air ventilation was terrible. It was so Smokey and some in our group had really difficult time breathing due to the air. Also the silverware was stamped and cheap. I hope to use something a bit nicer for $30 a plate. I?ve also been in nicer bathrooms at truck stops. Stained toilets should be dealt with or replaced. It?s gross to see a brown ring in the toilet."
