"This was our third time at Domacin. We have historically saved this trip for special occasions. As everything previously has been nothing short of amazing. This trip was definitely different. We were celebrating both my wife and my birthday. As far as the food. We started with two appetizers that were both good(scallops and wine lovers plate). Main dishes were a different story. We ordered the Duck Breast and the Risotto Bistecca. My wife asked me to try it and we both noticed the risotto was over cooked and mush. Secondly we noticed that there wasn’t any tenderloin tips. So after telling our waiter he took it back to add the tips. Upon it coming back the chef must have reseasoned the dish and it was unbearably salty. Literally inedible and therefor she didn’t eat it. The duck breast was good but also mildly overcooked. Desert we ordered two deserts and bubbles both were good and tasted good with our champagne. All in all the dish was removed from the bill, but Domacin has lost that glimmer for us. The waiter seemed annoyed from the time we sat down and didn’t seem to enjoy being there or interacting with the customers. Something that in the past has made the experience so special with us. Our bill after tip for two people was over $280. Something we gladly spend over great dinner and experience. But sadly won’t happen again because of our last experience."

"Last night we went to the restaurant bavarian hunter as a birthday dinner for my mother. we had a reservation so that we knew we had one table inside and ready since two of us came out of the state. we sat right away and offered drinks quickly and asked if we wanted any appetizers. After my mom picked up the menu online, she knew that she wanted to try the routine. she asked if there was anything else, and the server went gracious to check. to the happiness there were still a few portions and they reserved one for my mother, while the rest of us our dinner options. we wanted to try a lot of things, so this was a serious consideration! we ordered the kaze spatzle and (on recommendation of the server) the sausage plate as starters. both were delicious and I recommend trying. next came the rolls and a creamy chicken, speck and kartoffel soup. the suppe was delicious, but the rolls were dry and hard. the main course consisted of rouladen for my mother, gay with brotknödeln for my father, the Bavarian favourite for my man and the frame carving for me. when the food came out, my mother remembered that she wanted to taste the Bavarian potato salad, but had not remembered in time to order it for dinner. our server heard and asked if she still wanted it because she could get something for us, and we said yes. my personal favorite was the raymond carving, followed by the selection of my vater (the schweinaxe). he remembered that he was a child in this restaurant and that was what he had ordered at that time. he said it was very tasty, but wished it could have been calf instead of pigs. my man liked all the flesh in his favorite plate. he said that the frame-fitted carving was his favorite. it was tender and juicy, with a delicious sauce. second, he liked the crisp that had a big smokey taste. overall we agreed that the red müll was the best beside court. the potato dumplings were simply ok and the brothknödeln was very dense and dry. Unfortunately, neither my mother nor I were overly impressed by the Bavarian potato salad, although I had ordered it especially. we'll skip it next time. because it was a birthday dinner, we ordered two desserts to share. one was a brotpudding with cries and a bailey glaze, and the other was a lemon and blueberry cake. my mother and my husband loved the brotpudding, while my father and I loved the lemon cake. they were both amazing, but we had our favorites. all in all, we are back. this was a part of the better German kitchen that we had outside our own family kitchen(s). the restaurant itself was really nice, the people friendly and super helpful, and the outdoor area beautiful. Many thanks to the restaurant Bavarian hunter for an excellent dinner!"

"Father's day Mistake. First visit here possibly the last. It was father's day to be fair. It was busy but not so busy that the amount of staff there shouldn't be able to keep everyone happy. We git seated quickly, the server arrived 5 minutes after we had our menus and we were ready to order. She took about 10 minutes to bring our drinks. A kitchen staffer brought out our food in about 15 minutes! It was fast. Our server who hadn't been seen since the order then brought us dinner rolls and maple butter that i assume you're supposed to get while you wait. My medium ribeye was toasted and dry. Beans and potato were decent. Everyone else was happy with the food. We eat and chat. My 9 year old ran out of milk basically when the food arrived, the older one shortly after. No water was offered from the start. We finished our meals and sat. My wife and I finished our beers and we sat with empty plates and glasses. The couple next to us who sat down just before us got up and asked the hostess to ring up their food, they had a small baby getting fussy and it was HOT in there. The group behind us got seated minutes after we did. They were looking all over. They hadn't even gotten their appetizer. April our server has not been seen. Then she zipped by a couple times, the woman with the baby is still pleading with other staff to charge her card so she can leave and she spotted April and quickly grabbed her attention depending she close out their tab. Meanwhile my family of 4 have been sitting empty playes and glasses for nearly 30 minutes. She then brought the people behind us their drinks! Remember they were seated before we even ordered! We finished our food 30 minutes ago! She then ran off and took a few more orders we have been eyeballing her this whole time. She apparently mouthed ill be right back to my daughter at some point. Finally after I don't know how long, she came to us. I said I'd like a box and my tab! I was a little short with her. She runs off and dissappear for another 5+ minutes before coming back with a box and our bill. Rambling excuses and apologizing. We were all sweaty and over it long before that. I wanted a juicy steak for father's day, we tried a new spot and got burned.. as did my steak. Hopefully it was just a fluke but I don't see us going back to find out. I should mention, there were many staff members on the floor. Sometimes gathering and talking at their station. It's not like they were under staffed. Seems like the others were maybe even intentionally leaving our server to drowned. What a mess."
