"We sat down, and someone mentioned they would be with us shortly. Two minutes later, a server checked in to see if we were ready, but we informed her that we were still deciding since the toddler needed more time. Another six minutes passed before the owner assured us they would be right with us. After an additional 15 minutes, our order was finally taken. The server had just been instructed by the owner to stop using her phone when she approached our table. She asked us to go ahead with our order, but her tone was quite off-putting; there were no pleasantries exchanged. As I ordered my toddler's burger, I requested light mayo. The server replied that they would provide it and then tossed a small container onto our table before moving on to take the rest of our order without any friendly interaction. After that, she took the menus and left. Our food arrived about 15 minutes later and was quite good. One server came over to refill our glasses, but no one checked if the toddler's drink needed a refill. I finished my meal first, and when the server who took our order eventually came over, her tone had changed to be more polite as she asked if she could take my plate. My sister-in-law finished her meal, but her plate remained on the table for another 10 minutes without anyone checking on us or offering a to-go box or the check. Frustrated, I got up and went to the server's station to get my own box. After waiting a moment longer for someone to bring our check with no success, we headed to the bar where the owner and two servers were gathered. The owner asked if we were ready, and I replied firmly that I was. He inquired if everything was okay, to which I responded that it was not, as I was ready to leave. When he asked what the issue was, I explained the situation. He offered to cover our lunch, and I thanked him before leaving. As I was exiting, I overheard him mention that there had been two tables with issues that day. Feeling compelled to address the matter further, I returned and spoke with the server who took our order. I expressed that, as someone in management myself, I found her customer service skills to be quite rude. I told her it seemed she was taking her frustration over being reprimanded for her phone use out on us as customers. She attempted to justify her behavior by claiming she was the only one working the floor, but I reminded her there were four servers present. She continued to make excuses until the owner told her to stop talking and listen. When she tried to interrupt again, he instructed her to be quiet. I encouraged her to do better and walked away. Overall, the dining experience was a mix of great food but extremely disappointing service. "I came here for lunch yesterday, and did not have the best experience. When I came in the attendant was sitting at a table on her phone. She did quickly attend to me. After getting the sandwich I went to sit down and I noticed that all the tables were basically dirty meaning someone had already ate at them. In specific the tables had smear marks and bread crumbs/ food on them. I was in a hurry and I was hungry so I sat down at the cleanest table I can find and then the attendant sat down and put her phone on speaker phone and proceeded to talk with her family friends whatever. Their conversation was very loud and annoying and I just sat there and wondered why she would just do that versus not have a clean store especially the pandemic we just had. It's not that hard to keep a clean front of house it just makes me wonder what the back of the house looks like. I was in Toccoa a year ago and it was the same thing. I think I'll just drive to another location from now on until I hear that things are better here. Obviously the manager needs to step it up with the policies and procedures of the Subway franchise. Sometimes employees are hard to come by in this day and age but if they're managed right they can clean up a table in seconds if not minutes and have a tidy appearance which makes for a better experience. Parking: There were no cars at the location when I came so parking was a breeze. There is plenty of parking regardless. Kid-friendliness: At Subway I'd like to think that all kids are safe and that it's a friendly environment for them."

"I've been 5 times exactly. Mainly because of the variety in your choices the town has to offer. Each time I'd been, they've only had the same cook on staff twice! I believe they main reason for the slower than molasses foods wait time is because it's the inexperience in that department.. is that's not the reason, then it's just quality of cook employees. We have had some absolutely ridiculous reasons for issues being had. One time we happened to be over of two tables occupied in the restaurant and ordered wings! We assumed the fryers were on and hot, it was about 3pm! It took them 38 minutes to get JUST MY WINGS to the table and my step father didn't get his because the cook accidentally tossed the wings in the wrong sauce! The cook came out and asked if my step father wanted him to wipe them off and re toss the wings, or to cook another order! He just declined to have any and then had to get them to remove them from the him because the waitress tried to charge us for them! It wasn't like she hadn't been involved in the entire dilemma! Yet for whatever reason she argued that my step father had been given his wings after the cook wiped them off and retossed them!! We laughed so hard and I asked her on the cold method for wiping the wrong sauce from these wings supposedly? Mainly because I was very curious as to how he planned to do it. I'm not lying she paused before answering and told us that he had wiped the sauce with paper towels!!! I said get the f@ ! Out of here!! You have been back to this table twice since the issue! Once to bring me a box, since I'm not going to eat while he sits there with nothing, and for whatever reason . The last time to bring the check because you didn't bring that when I'd asked for both a box and the check! Mind you the only other occupied table ended up soaking to us as we left and told us they were not surprised by how everything played out and that the days staff weren't exactly the restaurants A team!! I replied that those two couldn't make the squad anywhere else! We went back a few months later because my wings weren't bad! They just took way to long given there wasn't anyone eating. I just assumed they had to let the fryers heat back up because they turned them off after lunch?? Service had always been very slow and don't be in a hurry for your drink or any type of service but other than that, what other sports bar do you go to in toccoa?!"
